1. The rest of the specs will remain the same as 8.2 plus
2. Weight 198 gram does not mean definitely 198, but any figures between 195 and 199
3. The 20MP sensor of front camera have OIS that does not have on 8.2 plus
Anonymous, 15 Apr 2019Note : the specs proposed assuming the phone will launch globally as 8.2 plus Assuming that X72 to be 7.2 plus, my proposal as below :
Display : 6.5" 1080 * 2340, 16M color IPS LCD, corning gorilla glass 5, HDR 10 (8.2 using P-OLED panel)

Battery : 4000 mAh, fast charging (no wireless charging)
LG Superfan, 14 Apr 2019If they give you all this dont expect price to be lower than $500 and why do you need depth sensor?Note : the specs proposed assuming the phone will launch globally as 8.2 plus
LG Superfan, 14 Apr 2019If they give you all this dont expect price to be lower than $500 and why do you need depth sensor? As long as the price is lower than 9 PureView in certain degree it should be OK
other publications call it the Nokia 6.2, not 8.1 plus.

It is not fair to compare it to any flagships like the LG G7, LG V40, S9, S9+, Note9, Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, SONY XZ3, Huawei P20 Pro, Apple iPhone 8, or any of their new variants.
In fact, my only criticism of the Nokia 8.1 Plus (X7) was that it was either too expensive, or wasn't good enough of a phone for the price.... ie Bad Value for Money. Here's my earlier comment that you can look up:
At this price point, they need several emergency changes:
-4,000mAh battery
-USB 3.1 instead of 2.0
-OIS on main camera (and better photo performance)
-S/AM/OLED display
-QSD 712 processor
Or they should keep it the way it is, maybe even downgrade the chipset to QSD 636, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and remove the 5MP-bokeh-third-camera. Heck, they could name it the Nokia 6.1 Plus if they want to. But slash the price down -90%, from US $380 to US $200.
Almost perfect, yet so flawed.
TL;DR, no this is NOT a good value for money phone.

The Nokia 9 PureView review is not a glowing endorsement... more"Is the Nokia X71 (8.1 Plus) great value for money?"
Not the phone i want isnt answer to a question like that. As that answer suit in a question where it would be. Do you want this phone?
When question is for value and no answer to say no it's not great for the value of money.
Nice phones. But be nice to see some little interesting quirky touches to hardware like Nokia use to have. Elegant placement of lights or things that ooze character and personality that's identity all its own. Kinda refreshing among a market of same same. Bring it on..
Interesting watch the amount of votes 3991 (48%) from which in reality only 4-10 persons or few ones will buy it, while the majority of votes 52% + the fake ones will look elsewhere.

I prefer quality not quantity and Nokia phones are far from these cheap quality phones and heavily loaded MIUI bloatwares.

It should be launch globally as 7.1 plus rather than 8.1 plus and price should be ₹21k maximum.
I was a big fan of the good old Nokia, but this HMD, it is just not the Nokia we used to love. Those Nokia X7 & X71 have no value for money whatsoever, build quality is good and that's all.
