Anonymous, 16 Apr 2019It is as simple as using a USB type C to 3.5mm adaptor.
Why make things complicated?Because a USB-C to 3.5mm jack is not a simple cable but have a DAC inside and that's what I'm talking about ;) The DAC (digital to analog converter) is what transform your digital signal from USB-c to analog one used in headphone.
There is Always a DAC somewhere since all music now is digital (unless you're playing a vinyle). It can be Inside the phone (for the one with a jack port) Inside the dongle (for usb-C to 3.5mm adaptor) or Inside the earphone, for Wireless ones.
You can choose the adaptor, so the DAC, and so the quality. It's not complicated, it's how it works ;)

Dunno why no one understand that no Jack port = no integrated DAC = We can know choose which DAC and quality we want! It's really great to use wired headphone! Just read any good review that test jack port and you will see some smartphone with jack port just had really terrible DAC and so, really bad sound output. Even the simple google DAC usb-c dongle is far better than a lot of integrated DAC!
Anonymous, 16 Apr 2019I can say that there are thousands of wireless headset being sold in the market.but how many bluetooth 5.0 earphones products ? less than 30 models? from reputable brands, less than 5, if you don't mind listen to compressed lifeless 20 year tech, carry on, i prefer music in lossless format and using high bitrate codec

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2019Saying numbers is easy, but proving it is hard. The fact that high end audiophile products use interchangeable parts, such as cables, connectors, tips, then you have new technology such as high resolution wireless audio receiver and headphones, the fact that 4.4 mm balance connector only existed from late 2016 onward as it's new connector, why you're wondering is that they are using a new size connector , some high end headphones and in ear monitor use high impedance which can't be from with low output current from 3.5mm so they developments of 4.4mm for the replacement/substitute for easily broken 2.5mm balance output, its also quite hard to implement 4.4mm on mobile phones cos it's a big connector

Still, those remotes are quite dumb (and cheap, so I'm not complaining). But this article was about smartphones.
Smartphone apps come with a large database of command codes so they have a much higher chance of working. Also, some smartphones can also learn control codes, so if you have an existing remote, you can copy the commands from it. I haven't heard of a case when the learning function couldn't be used.
Anonymous, 15 Apr 2019No problem because I can always change ear buds to new updated ones. Unlike the wired headset... moreconsidering the market for wired headphones has around 500 new products per year, how can this be outdated, example, some higher end headphones and IEM used balanced audio with either 4.4mm or 2.5mm jack, there are around 300 models now, with this MDR-H600A as 3.5mm is generally unbalanced, if the case as balanced audio headphones and IEM are only around 3-4 years old, so how can it be outdated, but considering from a hipster point of view, balanced audio and 2.5mm or 4.4mm is not relavant as sound quality is not the piority

Unlike the wired headset... moreI gather you have never heard of audiophile equipment, i have tested many phones and i personally own a US$700 audiophile digital audio player and a US$350 wired balanced quad armature earphones, as i said before, it makes all truely wireless earphones sound like 1980s cassette players, but I am quite passionate with audio quality, as i have around 5500 tracks at 160gb, some of tracks around 100gb
on the other hand with high bitrate audio and receivers/headphones, it's also very decent.
