€229.99 for a plastic box that has 1TB of storage, 3 games and internet connectivity + probably requiring you to pay €10-20/mo to play other games? Wow, that's really expensive. This 'cloud console' should have a much lower price - if this is all true, of course.

If this console named all digital does it mean, that previous x-box's optical disk reader was analog?
Really all computers at least from intel 4040 and game consoles at least from nintendo entertainment system are absolutely digital. Also their cartridges and optical drives are also digital, there is no consumer analog computers at least from 1980's.

Consoles are already very slow gaming, imagine offloading processing to some remote servers. By then your gaming experience is ... below freezing.

This will benefit shareholders. But not customers. When %company% pulls the plug on %game_streaming_service% or %online_game_store%, the %customers% will not be able to play anymore to the %game% they bought. Then, oh what a surprise, %game% gets ported to the new %game_streaming_service%! There goes your money again.

I'm not a fan of this. It can make gaming more accessible, if you have solid bandwidth in the case of cloud computing, but you are at the mercy of the company.

I have mix reaction, I know the coming age is digital but I think they should have waited for next gen console instead of making a variant of current one and as far as subscription goes I like Google Stadia concept which allows cross platform and less hardware for demanding games as processing will be done on Google's hardware but one thing is for sure I totally hate in game purchases and paid DLC

Too bad Dragon Quest (none of them) isn't coming to it anytime soon. Neither is Dark Cloud 2. How about the Time Crisis series? House of The Dead might, Metal Slug series perhaps (?).
