Qualcomm makes their own graphic chips. It called Adreno. WP7 uses Adreno GPUs too. Adreno GPUs are found in Snapdragon SoC.

That however is something possible across any phone and not to common except maybe in the super cheap as phones. Hopefully your luck with Droid improves. Or enjoy hour iPhone. Just know the majority of Droid users do not experience things as bad as you.

Every product line has flaws. I hate apple yet my friend had a 4s with all kind of issues and had to get one or two replacements yet I assured her that its not something that's all too comments and it usually is great."
Of course you won't believe even I showed you pictures of my phones, SGS2, Tmo G2X and SGS. Gallery app is buggy on all my phones. Sometimes it won't load or force closes. It takes couple Android phones to know Android is buggy as hell and requires powerful hardware.

You're wrong. I know everything about my Galaxy S2. It has a crap audio chip, yellow tint screen, some SGS2 with pink spots on camera, and no Voodoo Sound support. I also have an SGS with ICS custom rom on it. SGS has a worst GPS ever and very laggy due to bad Samsung RFS file system. Installed Voodoo on the SGS but it's still very laggy. Only good thing about the original SGS is the sound output with Voodoo.

with apple, they have one phone working with one processor, so iOS is optimized for the Iphone and Iphone alone period.
Android on the other hand is created by Google and used by every other brand....

Galaxy S2 isn't as smooth as phones with Windows Phone 7 neither. Microsoft is doing the same thing Apple is doing, preventing fragmentation in hardware.

It's not all about specs. My Galaxy S2 is still not as smooth as the iPhone 4 with 800Mhz single core. Apple optimized iOS very well with the hardwares. They made it easy for developers when all of their iDevices use only PowerVR GPUs.

800 Mhz is still smoother and apps run better than any Android phone.

[deleted post]Ahahaha! Oh boy. Ahahaha! I didn't realize that apple was still using the under clocking ploy. You poor users. Are they ever gonna stop. Maybe when they design and make their own CPU. Instead of using Samsung...or copying the Samsung modifications to the cortex and then change one or two things own...claim it as their own design and then have Samsung make it. Even after all the legal things. Why? Cause Apple knows Samsung is good at it.

So the iPhone4 and iPad2 has a slightly better GPU... What's the big deal? As an iOS AND Android owner I can tell you that they BOTH have awesome graphics and GPUs.

Seems like YOU are the troll/fanboy here, since AnandTech's benchmarks show that GPU-wise the 4S has double the performance of the top tier Android phones.

i dont have problem to play game with galaxy s2 asphat 6hd ver.1.0.8 run perfect
exynos on sgs2 and mali 400 is very very fast and perfect to play game in android
if u have problem to play game or app FC check update to last ver. ^^
