R.I.P. Our most lovely messaging platform.
BBM is gone, but its worth to pay 5 Dollars per year for BBME Service.

If BlackBerry doesn't save the day and keep BBM going then I'll leave BlackBerry all together.. I'll never buy another BlackBerry if this happens..

BBM was already DEAD around 2013, when BB tried to launch BB OS10. All these years they were trying to keep it alive. BBM never worked smooth on BB OS10 compared to legacy BB OS. Android BBM was shit. By that time, everybody had already to move to other similar platforms. RIP BBM!

Dude, 19 Apr 2019R.I.P. BB, it will only take a while longer to conclude your phones are obsolete. Thanks for b... moreDid you mean "BBM" and not "BB"?

BB stopped making hardware and licensed the rights to use the name on hardware globally to TCL years ago... Known as "BlackBerry Mobile". And a couple of regional players (India and Indonesia if I remember right) have licensed the usage of the BB name for domestic usage too.

Though owning a BB Priv for years, the only times I opened BBM was by accident...

I guess it was mostly there to ease the transition of the old BBOS users.
Nice though that BB now offers BBMe for those that still have not moved on.

What is Blackberry Messenger and why its name so familiar?
