Tom-Helge, 23 Apr 2019Is there something about the word 'being honest' that is hard for you to understand?
No mat... moreIt took Samsung almost two months and blaming users before removing note 7 from the market.
If there's one thing we can learn from Samsung, it's that their QA team is bad, really bad.
Anonymous, 23 Apr 2019Note 7 was a threat to people's lives!!!
With airlines forbidding people to carry it on plane... moreIs there something about the word 'being honest' that is hard for you to understand?
No matter how much of a threat the Note7 was, Samsung was still totally honest about that case when they figured out what the problem was.
If this had been Apple, they would probably blaim the users for using it in to hot environments causing the battery to go boom or something.
It's all about being honest to not being honest here. Apple is never honest if they see an oppoturnity to blaim their users. Samsung never does that.
I hope you see my point now on why i wouldn't put money into a company that is not honest towards it's users. Samsung is totally honest and therefor it's easier to defend them, even though they might have some issues from time to time. Because they are honest about their issues.
Would you feel comfortable knowing that the company you throw money into are not honest towards it's users and puts out lies left and right just to find a cheap way of getting around the real issue?
The fold might be one of the first phone to be displayed at the local mobile shop with a security guard next to it. Limiting people to one fold each per day.
Anonymous, 23 Apr 2019So it's the definition of double standards like I said.
Let me tell you something. Apple s... moreApple fanboy detected. I like Apple products, but i'm not obsesed like you.
Today, iPhones are crap. Too expensive, not innovative at all, over restricted, etc.
I know a lot of people that left iPhone and went to Huawei.
Apple has brand name, but nobody takes them seriously any more

With airlines forbidding people to carry it on planes before Samsung recalled. Samsung's shared hit rock bottom and the whole company was in trouble. They initially said it's was just a bad batch of batteries!!! The blamed it in a different company. Then it was exposed that it was a design issue with no room for the battery and Then they recalled. Honest company.
Stop being blind
Fiasco. Terrible device, destroyed reputatuin all over again (after Note 7).
Samsung is dead
Tom-Helge, 22 Apr 2019I don't think you get it why we bash Apple and doesn't bash Samsung in a case like this.
Sa... moreSo it's the definition of double standards like I said.
Let me tell you something. Apple sells! I mean if you are a youtuber or a journalist or whatever the best way to get money is to talk about Apple. Media are obsessed because they know Apple means publicity!
You will not find videos like the one you posted about other companies because nobody would actually care to watch it because who cares? It's not apple.
Look up online for reviews about everything samsung. Fridges, microwaves, laptops, tvs, phones. You will see the truth about Samsung in forums. But it's easier to say that "iphone 4 has an antenna issue" than "samsung 49mu6400 has light bleeding and samsung says it's normal".
Apple means publicity + fake news + exposure of everything
The good thing for the media is that 2/3 of the world can't afford apple so they bash it for views. Imagine all the media bashing android users. Who would watch their videos?
I can't believe some of the excuses in these comments, some of them were probably first to laugh when Antennagate came about. Conspiracy theories about Apple Biased websites: Telling people that they are using it wrong. I'm just glad this didn't get a general release, and that the technical journos found out about the problems first!. What a joke.
That statement is a really long way of saying "it was a stupid, pointless idea and we now massively regret even doing it"
DARK PREDITOR, 22 Apr 2019Oh yeah of course, like they fixed the note 7 and took it of market, don't talk so much rubbish... moreNo matter how you want it to be, Samsung was still totally honest about their mistakes and what problems they had with the Note7. And they did the right thing when they did find out the REAL issue.
That's the point here that Samsung is honest while Apple is not by blaiming the issues on their users first.

Note 7 debacle reloaded. Sammy hasnÂ’t learned a damn thing. Huawei probably keeping their fingers crossed for samsung to launch the fold so that they can on the korean failure.
