Seriously your comments are so dumb and unfounded at times. If you think this boring malware ridden Nokia lump is going to make Samsung or android worry then think again.I work in phone sales and the lumia has been a poor seller with hardly any interest with the gs2 and iPhone out selling these kids toys.I was sent one from Nokia for free and personally think its the most boring phone I've ever used.Lets see what the sales figures say and I bet there poor.I bet you won't be seen on here no more me cannot. Also mine was faulty after only a week with charging problems and malware from Facebook.Everyone knows anything windows is limited and virus riddenThe apps are poor and cost a fortune too.In all a poor attempt at a smartphone and sales will tell all soon but there is light on the horizon when samsung buys them from the brink of disaster so keep on smoking the bill gates home grown and enjoy Nokia while there still here mr fanboy pro.

AnonD-16334, 14 Jan 20121 year old configuration. expected to release in late march..LOLIt may not be a dual core but its performance is quad-core like thanks to the great coding of WP7 Mango.

Go back worshipping your dual-core, and malware ridden Android that can't utilize both cores properly. Android flagships have dual-cores and huge RAM so that it can run multiple malware apps in the background.

Anonymous, 14 Jan 2012two words TOO LATE nokia was too late with the 800 and now the 900 which is just the same thin... moreThe Lumia 800 is fast and fluent. No need to look at the specs (and compare with phones with other OS), since it is as fast as it should be.

In other words, it is working fine and it is beautiful!! Great phone!

two words TOO LATE nokia was too late with the 800 and now the 900 which is just the same thing but with a bigger screen and a front camera its just not good enough and its not only nokia's fault, microsoft has no dual cores and eventhrough it can run smoothly its no much in terms of raw performance to its competitors in the same price range. This is a phone only for the die hard nokia fan , anyone with even a small ammount of comon sence won't buy it

Its nice to drop by gsmarena and see news about phones other than Android. I'm not trying to hate on Android, just that there are like a million phones running it so its nice to see Nokia and Windows phone news now and again to make things interesting. I wish Nokia all the best with their new adventure. Just would like to see and hear more about the successor to the N8.

This phone and the Xperia Ion will make a real good competition in the USA even though the Ion has far superior specs :)

I think the competition will mostly be because of the Windows 7.5 OS which is quiet amazing to be honest. My Arc is running on 2.3.4 but I still find the 7.5 Mango somehow sexy and simple compared to other OSs.
