[deleted post]Arc isn't in any way junk but honestly everyone says that Sammy sII with his no name camera takes way better pictures( I assume that not all 12363 photo tests including 8MP one on GsmArena are faked ) No trollish here!

Quite disppointed, To me, 13 mega pixel is meaningless for small sensor. More pixel more noise. 500 mega is the best for the small sensor

no matter, 16 Jan 2012Not impressed at all. Details after processed jpegs looks ugly. Comparable to some "art&q... moreI was thinking exactly that also. Looks like watercolor painting filter or something but I think it is something to do with backlit sensor technology. Sony Ericsson phones which use this technology, all have same "effect". It kills pixel quality.

This could either be a software problem (as evident by WP7's lack of optimization to a Carl Zeiss lens) or it's just that Sony used a really cheap sensor and lens to backup the 12mp camera. Seems like the N8 still reigns as king, and for 2 years that's very impressive.

I don't know frm where they got these samples may be pics are compressed coz yesterday I checked fonarena where xperia s beats penasonic 16 mp camera clearly.
