Carlover, 17 Jan 2012Boring design as S2, expanded screen only. Prefer the Sony Xperia S with unique design. Where's the design, I see only the screen :D
Lately that's what Samsung has been doing, display and internal and no design or premium finish.
I tried S2 for 2/3 days and then returned it. Thought I would like its design once I get used to it but despite its good performance and display, I was not able to convince my self to spend money on the pathetic design. Its not a premium device design and build quality wise. Grow up Samsung, hire some guys from HTC or Apple.
You can't buy something you don't like right.

although i like my sgs2, i wish it didn't have that visible button at the bottom of it, hopefully samsung will lose it on the sgs3 & keep it fully touchscreen, i think that would be nice

SIII seems like a very thin smartphone, at least that guarantees notthing more than 8mpix camera

No matter if it just a mid class or a high class, as long as it suit my need and efficient in term of anything (time, cost, etc) that that will be my choice. Bear in mind that man should pay more attention to their family rather than spending all fortune to gadget. Right? :p

looks like an iphone 5 to me... lets wait for the official anouncement... but irrespective the looks should be slightly better than the Galaxy S2(which contrary to some opinions) i feel is a decent package looks-wise... so if we get a smaller/trimmed bezel, better battery performance and dual/quad core processor than we should be sorted.

4.6 inch is perfect for me. But i don't think this is galaxy S III. Because It won't contain a physical home button.
I hope Samsung will implement better build quality like Apple. I fed up with Samsung and Sony plasticky phones.
Also Samsung will come up with bigger battery for Galaxy s III that would last at least a day.

I think this could go either way...
a) it could be VERY similar to the promo video (I don't think it'll have a button on the bottom as it ships with ICS - so this may be a mock-up) in which case it'll be very disappointing (TOO close to previous iterations)
b) it doesn't look anything like this - it's merely for promo purposes..
To be honest... I reckon it'll look very much like the GS2 - I can't see them radically changing the design... if they can fit a larger screen into the same chassis - then at least it will appease the people who don't want larger handsets...
My problem is it's such a boring template...
And it doesn't scream premium in any way, shape or form...
:(
As I GS2 owner, I'm looking for something a bit more 'eyecatching' this year...

I bought the SII 'cos I don't like the soft on-screen buttons and I thought it would appear on SIII...
I'm just so sad...
