I am using Huawei Watch since late 2017. I can say that Google improving Android Wear/Wear OS is a major overstatement. Latest usable Android Wear for me was 1.5. I am now now Wear OS 2.8 and it really sucks. There are many in my shoes - just look at XDA forums. Notifications are barely usable and battery life is terrible - watch charged over night consistently dies before late afternoon. Downgrading to 1.5 improves this to having 70-80% at the end of the day. The thing is that downgrading is not easy and there is no way to disable automatic updates - the tricks on XDA work for some time, but Google eventually finds a way to force the update down the user throat. After giving Wear OS 2.x another try for last few weeks, the experience is simply frustration. I would rather not carry watch at all than be frustrated with it dying on me in the middle of the day.
No it's not true, it's useful to have indications on his wrist.
If you need to walk on the street, you just have to follow the instructions. The map is displayed more to indicate the good way to follow like a compass.
Like someone needs to watch a tiny map on a tiny watch screen.
Rather use phone.
This is a joke.
