Anonymous, 06 May 2019Why 8K 5G TV? Because technology is evolving. That's called innovation. That's called cramming specs. Inovative stuff give a purpose to their equipment. A good purpose
A TV with an 8K display and a 5G connection is really setting the next gen standards in television. I dont think anyone right now knows what full potential this can bring but its exciting stuff. I think it will eventually see the end of aerials and dishes for signals. The set top box will be gone too as all channels will be via apps on your tv streamed directly via 5G so it doesnt matter if you dont have broadband. Can you imagine Jeremy kyle show broadcast via 5G in 8k resolution lol or what about naked attraction lol
Anonymous, 02 May 20194k is not meme anymore it's completely mainstream, Apple 850p screen is definitely a meme btwOk, that 828p resolution meme is something we can agree on
CptPower, 02 May 2019Well we have a game changer.
Samsung say goodbye on a number 1 not only in mobile department... moreI don't know if gsmarena tolerates links. anyhow, since this has nothing to do with competition or other form of nefarious implications...:
Teddy Sadcat, 02 May 2019>up to 6GB for every minute of video Daily reminder that 8K is a meme And for that matter... more4k is not meme anymore it's completely mainstream, Apple 850p screen is definitely a meme btw
Well we have a game changer.
Samsung say goodbye on a number 1 not only in mobile department but on TV segment as well.
No point in 8K TVs since they'll have to be like over 80" to see the difference and pretty much no one has that kind of space
realitychecker, 02 May 2019or. lolsNah, he has a point. They're being like the old Samsung, the one not afraid of taking a chance
Teddy Sadcat, 02 May 2019>up to 6GB for every minute of video Daily reminder that 8K is a meme And for that matter... moreEh, 4k I feel it's perfect. It's just the right amount of crispness for a TV screen. But hey, not much else you could do for a TV other than adding more pixels
8k tv? ok, now where the usefulness stops and just fancy starts? fyi search "display-size-resolution-and-ideal-viewing-distance" on rgb website. do you watch a 100" screen at a min 6m distance? you must be living in some house... similar info exists for phone displays size vs resolution. you know, there is a human eye pure physiology limitation....
Huawei is really pushing in every area.
It wont flop like LeEco because Huawei make a lot of money through different sources.
Huawei is *the* leader in 5G
8K means 7680 x 4320P , P is for PROGRESSIVE.
Only not less than 33.2 MP cameras can shoot 8K
videos and movies for 8K TV.
UHD is 4K. SAMSUNG and NHK take care for the future.
Don't worry !
When did the last time I turn on the TV. I don't even remember. Unless I want to watch the news. Internet tv is great but 5G on 8K is overkill. Only sports enthusiast will love it.
"Samsung is the world leader in display technology and it is the only company actually manufacturing 8K displays"
Uhm... Sony and LG both sell 8K TV's, and LG has 8K OLED in the pipeline, and I'm pretty sure they make their own panels. Sony probably uses LG panels if their OLED line is any indication.
