This phone will named XPERIA U, based on the letter of submission testing of telecommunications equipment in Indonesia....

Phone looks larger than a 3.5. Maybe it will be a 3.7. Interesting being a dual core too.

I like the way it looks. We await more specs

It is the successor to the Mini.

Anything 3 inches and below are being phased out, and codename Tapioca is the only one that is going to be released at 3.2 inches later this year.

I don't think this is the successor of Xperia Mini, because Mini has just been launched. And because it is too big with 3.5 or 3.7 inches screen. More likely the successor of Neo.

[deleted post]It so simple - devices in first half of 2012 will be the ones developed by SonyEricsson. The first entirely Sony developed device will be released no sooner than H2.
LT28, LT26, LT22, MT27 and ST25 are all SonyEricsson devices.

Sony will never learn from their stupid mistake for taking too long to release their phone.

Seems to be same story like xperia neo & xperia neo v. Xperia s would be in high price range, this one would be much ecnomical. One question, if these handsets support video calling or not? Sony ericsson handset uptn Arc S donot support video calling.

The phones coming out after June will be branded after the Sony name.

Things are being worked on right now for those which are being released prior to June.

No reason for them to recall the phones just for a reprint, we can always dismantle and work away with the brand names ourselves anyway.

Dear Sony:

I'm dissapointed in you. You got the name right but the look is still boring. Make it orange, ovoid, and fun. The market need a fun phone, not another rectangular brick.
