This phone will named XPERIA U, based on the letter of submission testing of telecommunications equipment in Indonesia....
Phone looks larger than a 3.5. Maybe it will be a 3.7. Interesting being a dual core too.
I like the way it looks. We await more specs
It is the successor to the Mini.
Anything 3 inches and below are being phased out, and codename Tapioca is the only one that is going to be released at 3.2 inches later this year.
AnonD-7123, 22 Jan 2012if this going to be the successor of xperia mini, is there gonna be a successor of xperia mini... moreI dont think this phone is XM/XMP successor...its more to xperia neo V successor
Much better looking than Neo, but... I want to have ICS on it straight away!
I don't think this is the successor of Xperia Mini, because Mini has just been launched. And because it is too big with 3.5 or 3.7 inches screen. More likely the successor of Neo.
[deleted post]It so simple - devices in first half of 2012 will be the ones developed by SonyEricsson. The first entirely Sony developed device will be released no sooner than H2.
LT28, LT26, LT22, MT27 and ST25 are all SonyEricsson devices.
Sony will never learn from their stupid mistake for taking too long to release their phone.
wow sony a dual core smartphone at 1ghz, awsm!!!! and its not like every other company has a dual core smartphones or even quad cores being leaked...
Seems to be same story like xperia neo & xperia neo v. Xperia s would be in high price range, this one would be much ecnomical. One question, if these handsets support video calling or not? Sony ericsson handset uptn Arc S donot support video calling.
LOL, Samsung is used to capture the phone, although I don't know the specific phone XD
I was the one who gave this leak and they didn't even mention my name! This discourages people like me...no appreation for good task is bad :-(
The phones coming out after June will be branded after the Sony name.
Things are being worked on right now for those which are being released prior to June.
No reason for them to recall the phones just for a reprint, we can always dismantle and work away with the brand names ourselves anyway.
I'm dissapointed in you. You got the name right but the look is still boring. Make it orange, ovoid, and fun. The market need a fun phone, not another rectangular brick.
Hey Sony, don't turn into htc n samsung, using same design on all phones.
if this going to be the successor of xperia mini, is there gonna be a successor of xperia mini pro. i my opinion the xperia mini pro got more fans that the mini one. why they making the successor of mini instead of the mini pro
