Windows Phone 'Tango' would be easy on the RAM Comments

There has been almost no situations where my Optimus 7 would have exceeded that 256mb RAM usage. Maybe in some games, but I haven't seen the usage in those.

Yes I am an Android fan, but why are people putting down Android. People are claiming to have bad experiences but look at the phones they talk about. I have never had a problem with Android. I have owned an iPhone and a Wp7 and I loved them but Android suited me better. if i could, I would carry those three OS all the time but I have to choose one. I mostly own a Motorola Android phone because I never have any problems. I have owned a Samnsung WP7 and Android and both were bad experiences along with HTC WP7 and Android.

add any new features to any os.optimization ... moreSeems like you don't understand what optimization is. They are focusing right now in making WP run even better on lower end devices. Right now the minimun spec for WP says 256mb of RAM but it seems the experience wasn't up to par. Now they want to make sure it is so they can have Nokia and other OEMs attack the low end market.
Yes android is more "feature rich" than WP, but that doesn't mean it's bad. The upgrade with more features is coming latter. And keep in mind low end devices don't necessarily let you access all those feature you like

No flash, less ram , low res , bad camera , worst battery life. I used a lg optimus p55o which costs around 160 dollars here in india.

It is on par with android interms of features and still is nt resource hungry. In low end mobiles android is just pathetic. I have had a very bad experience with lg optimus p550 , very bad phne.

add any new features to any os.optimization inversly proportional to adding more features(resources) like i said about xp and win.7 "thats where android needs more ram to run its full features on phone smoothly" do you disagree if i say android gives far better features than a wp7??!.i think you get my point now!again what an optimization brings?just makes the phone to run os smoothly even on lower hardwares..i'd rather prefer a featurefull os than a useless optimized os!

would u buy a windows 7 computer with low ram? answer is no. it'd work but but not aswell. the 256mb ram is a minimum recomendation. doesnt mean it runs better or is better than any other os

Agree with the fact that android has the capability for customization, features and all. But it is definitely not optimized to utilize hardware. I will always wonder why the hell should a phone need 1.5ghz dual core or quad core phones with 1GB ram

Just for ur info dear Android lover.
E5 used 256 mb RAM.
And Tango is meant to be for low-mid range devices ...not everyone in the world is interested in multitasking and running multiple applications in background.....some use mobile phone to make calls and some minimal media stuff.
Dont get worried that other platforms are able to manage hardware better than android. If ther was android phone with 256 MB RAM ... forget multitasking even single application will not run correctly without force closing it. I own a LG android 2.2 phone with 256 RAM which is total piece of crap. my nokia N81 which is like 3yrs older .. does better job at multitasking.

Symbian phns run well with 256 mb ram .infact e5 manages to save 160mb evn after many apps opned in backgrnd. So here optimisation is the key .
