Every device regardless of the brand can be faulty. I have the Optimus 3D and haven't encountered any of the issues you stated below. Stop be biast...

I love the look and specs of this phone, just a shame it's made by LG - they always produce cutting edge hardware and then majorly fail with updates and customer service. As tempting as this phone will be on its release, I simply won't buy it because it's LG!

this is cool upgrade to the previous 3D. and for the one saying 3D is crap well you should try it first and nawadays everything is becoming 3D. the P920 is awesome no doubts abt that and is much better than the HTC Evo 3D.
This new upgrade should have at least 1GB RAM, and those specs r not final if this new device is true.
Connect your Oprimus 3D via HDMI to a 3D TV and play 3D games or view pix and videos in 3D its gr8.

the cpu upgrade is a huge considering the difference in cpu architectures of the two above mentioned LG models..40%more raw processing power@the same clocks,which also combined with the AH-IPS LCD,equals more battery time compared to the previous model..sort of comparing iphone 4 with iphone 4S in the end..peace

LG they don't upgrade their phones and they always leave you with major bugs like battery life, screen touch issue, hardware issue. They are too hasty and they always want to be first but this not good enough. What we need is the best not the first!

Another phone which they will release and they'll tell it's owners that it'll be updated.... But will there be a timeframe.. NO! Because by the time they'll release the next Android version to they're phone, we'll be on Android 6.0.
Don't get me wrong, but I'm not saying that Samsung are great. They're taking time to release ICS for the galaxy s2 and they bumped the galaxy s owners.

so lg decided to step down from the rather high-end optimus 3d to the mid-range cw2 this year?? seriously specs are not much improved, and this look more like a 'S' version of O3D than a proper 2nd generation device.

Yea rubbish u call that an upgrade why not 960 by 640 u are lg screen suppliers ov apple or if u wanted 1060 by 740 why not an 1.8 overclocked processor 1.5 gb ov ram adreno 225 gpu anything is possible for u u are the makers why not 29 hsdpa browsing speed come on lg it's power possession we customers want why you employing workers that don't no anything about phones quality ov materials carbon finer back titanium side rims 2500 mah lipoly batteries weight 155 grams u need innovation take advise from me memory 64 gb ssd drive price ov phone 650 pounds it will take u 280 to make but u will succeed and finally ics 4.0.3 it's all about conception feel weight and concept designs edge to edge with no curves lines good luck
