It would be very interesting to see if GSM Arena does a comparison test'tween Active & this phone & if they throw in Defy+.....it would be touche!!
My son is a paperboy and keeps throwing his phone instead of the newspapers.
I think this will be my next purchase.
Nice! I want six of them. And it runs Android, which is the best news because Android rules big time!

I love this, interesting design, and tough for clumsy folk like me lol. I'd find this handy for active lifestyle.
Look forward to seeing specs

in my opinion its a good phone not just the usual iphone style designed no offense for the iphone i like i phone but this one that casio created is something new and for me its a good one
It is beautiful!
cool one...it looks kind od rocky...heavy one though
WOW - That looks freakin AWESOME! Finally something truly original - these droids are getting a little boring these days.
shock resist 10 feet
pressure resist 1 ton
water resist 1 bar
battery life 1 day
lag resist 1 minute
and it has a face only a mother would love
Lovely gadgety design...At least the design team did their job not like these boring souless slabs we see every bloody day.Sick of todays mobile so boring to look at so this is a good effort..
ugly, and too many info on back, its a phone not a manual!
I wunder what market they're aiming at, is it the phone consuming younger generation who'll like the idea of being able to use it as a football, or the construction workers that may use it as an extra tool on their belt, like a hammer or so... like the samsung Xcover2 better tbh
cleo, 24 Jan 2012Good, I can use this for self defense. I hope it's also bulletproof...It itself looks like some sort of a deformed mini-missile.
They should keep it as low priced as possible, as they'll be aiming at construction workers etc, who rather buy 5 20euro phones per year then to spend 200euros on a phone that might not brake and no, it's not a looker
I need to have one of these....
Reminds me of the old Ericsson R310... you can literally put that into boiling water and still make a call, inside it.....
Now what about the display.
Is this the plain Gorilla glass, or have they managed to use some (thick) armored glass somehow?
