It looks like the iPhone 5 pictured before.
El, 24 Jan 2012Well i think Mr Elop doesn't have a grasp of what consumers want...look at the 2 best selling ... more1. The sale target for the Lumia 800 was 500,000 most reports say it outdone that
2. Nobody from Nokia said that they were competing with the iPhone 4 or Samsung S2
3. Apollo will be out in 2012
4. The Microsoft and Nokia partnership is well under a year. And to bring a phone in the time that they did was amazing. I will point out the New Nexus and the fact Apple gave people the 4s in what took apple over 18 months.
5. The WP7 market added 10,000 apps this month alone which means it now stands at 60,000 apps which should mean by May there will be about 100,000 apps.
6. The whole UI is completly different from Android and iOS where the social side is built into the OS yes I know there are loads of people who complain about the start screen but that is a not the whole UI.
I really liked using Android and I have an android tablet. But the word for me is,liked and not loved. Apple is great but there is far to much in and out of apps and I didn't find it interesting all the app selection is hughe I they weren't easy to discover.
I actually look forward to what each OS has to offer and I hope the S3 has a better build than the last one.
Nokia made the mistake by teaming up with Microsoft!
whats so special about galaxy s2 or s 3 whatever cheap plastic? i design ? bad build quality? bad battery life? oh only benchmarks to satisfy people oh oled which i think is fake so if i was any of you go for xperia
This will be the final nail in the coffin for other android devices and perhaps iphone. I guess u noticed i didnt mention nokia.lol
I've owned every apple phone made to the 4s and i had more than my share of Nokia symbian phones. when i owned any of those i also either needed a tablet laptop or desktop. my first android was the dell streak 5 over a year ago and haven't looked back. i pickup the iphones just for profit on contract renewals play with them for a month then dump them. since the dell i sold my laptop and turn on my pc every few months or so. picked up the sgs2 lte last month from rogers and its nothing short of amazing. Im sure most of the people posting negative remarks either have never used an android flagship device for any amount of time or only listen to fanboy gibberish. seriously , you can almost toss and tablet pc or laptop with one of these. processing power freedom to do whatever you want within the os a legible easy to live with screen (ever try browsing on an iphone ?) and OMG zune ? itunes? are you serious ? i like my cahones exactly where they are thankyou. it truly baffles me to no end.
GS2, an ugly great phone ... I hope that Samsung will improve the design for the S3
Whatchasay, 24 Jan 201212MP Camera?! check. HD Screen?! Check. Quad Core?! Check. Still won't come close to touchi... more10x better than IPhone ? Check !!!
woooow what a torpedo
Wow, never realised that swapping from ios to android would mean you become so dated so quickly! My galaxy s2 will be only 8 months old when the s3 comes out! Perhaps i will just wait for the next android pure breed im sure google will have something class ready for it. or maybe i will pick up an iphone 5 and go back to apple
12MP Camera?! check. HD Screen?! Check. Quad Core?! Check. Still won't come close to touching the iPhone in sales?? Check.
as a former fan of Nokia i have to say i love their build quality over any other manufacturer. but they are going to remain a joke as far as Im concerned for the simple fact they are slaves to Microsoft and i refuse to use an OS more crippled than ios . noone was more disappointed they didn't go with android instead. if they had i would be the biggest Nokia fanboy in the world . what a shame they had to sell their soul and cripple their beautifully crafted hardware. shame shame shame

woooh! ill just wait for galaxy s4
From my understanding not all four cores will be running all at the same time samsung is using something like displacement in car engines were if you dont need all the power only two cores will be running and when u start multitasking like we love to do on android it will fire up the 2 additional cores...so batter life should be fine
the battery in my SGS2LTE is pretty good (with LTE off)but im sure the battery will be bigger than the one in my phone...interested in phone but not rushing out to go buy it cause basically its still running two cores on a regular basis
