--voltaire9, 31 May 2019Does not have it my dude, checked for it the first day I used it.Then it must be a T-mobile thing. I'm fairly sure all OnePlus phones have it. My 3T has it, and I tried it on a OP6 as well, and it had it.
Will try on a non-carrier OP7 pro and tell you what I find.
I wish the display was flat, that it had a headphone jack, that it was 16:9 aspect ratio, and the rear camera was good. Incorporate those four things into a phone and I'll pay whatever you want.
No to OnePlus year, 27 May 2019They cut even dongle form the package, not to mention other features, and say it is cheap flag... moreThe oneplus 7 pro costs 700. I don't think a dongle and the other accessories will add 300 dollars.
For the price, the camera quality is inexcusable. Leave the DXOMark rating aside, the photos are not anywhere close to Pixel, Samsung or Huawei quality in the Android world. My 2017 Huawei Mate 10 Pro takes better pictures in challenging conditions. I don't care for MicroSD card, headphone jack etc and I had stopped using those since 2017.
The front camera pop-up is a good novelty, which wears off within a day. In display fingerprint seems to be nice, but wet hands are still a problem like with regular fingerprint sensors. Is it only me who is facing this?
Best thing about the OnePlus 7 Pro is its screen. The movements and response seems fluid, and as the article says, it has to be experienced.
But, I wouldnt pay Rs 50k for the OnePlus 7 pro. I'd take the S10e, because its more handy, takes better pics than and I'm getting it cheaper than the 7Pro.
They cut even dongle form the package, not to mention other features, and say it is cheap flagship, well add those missing features and it will cost 1000 right, so how it is better?
Marko, 27 May 2019Oneplus 7 Pro is way too large for me, I will buy something smallerGo for samsung s10e perfect size to hold in hand
Anonymous, 27 May 2019Usb-C to USB-C + female jack are rare and expensive if you want to use earbuds while charging ... moreJust say that you want the 3.5 mm chack, and don't like dongles. But don't go hiding behind the "rare and expensive"... a quick search on google, and you can find plenty of them, very cheap.
Here you go: https://www.walmart.com/ip/USB-C-Adapter-Type-C-Audio-and-Charge-2-in-1-Type-C-Converting-into-3-5-Earphone-Audio-Adapter-Cable/407843759
I am not a fan of dongles either, but they don't bother me as much, as a notch or a punch-hole in the screen.
Don't know what's up with all these complaints, and reviews, etc., but I got one on the 2nd day, and here's my take:
1) My battery is discharged to ~55% with the same use, that had my Note 3 and Note 4 discharged to 15%
2) Love the no-notch design. Primary reason why I got it. Hate notches and punch holes.
3) Display is awesome. Very fluid. Much better than a 60Hz display i'm used to rocking
I have no complaints, except for a very slippery body. You absolutely must have a case or a silicone skin, to make it less slippery. Otherwise with any side to side hand movement with a phone in hand, and it wants to go flying.
Anonymous, 26 May 2019Well obviously a one year old phone will be cheaper. But the point is it's better.
Hildr, 27 May 2019Why not just using a dongle that you let connected to the jack? I really don't get all the fus... moreUsb-C to USB-C + female jack are rare and expensive if you want to use earbuds while charging your phone. And those are bigger and heavier, USC-C splitters too.
The excuse of roll the display or small chin doesn't work. Look at the Zenfone 6 or Samsung S10, the Huawei P30, Mate 20 and this ween the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro...
One of the reasons is that OnePlus has lost their perception of “Flagship Killer” to be super flagship phone with premium price which has driven some consumer attentions away.
DustinDust75, 26 May 2019Until wireless headphones sound as good as high grade wired headsets....there will be a large ... moreWhy not just using a dongle that you let connected to the jack? I really don't get all the fuss about that.
On a side note, are there phone with jack port and no chin? Caus if the need to roll the screen on the chin to reduce the bezel, maybe it would explain the lack of jack (USB-C is really smaller).
Been an Oneplus customer for the past 3 years...Disappointed in the prices of their recent phones...I am not buying anymore of their devices, cause its no more worth the price. The very reason the Brand exists (flagship killer) itself is defeated and has turned into Flagship themselves (in terms of their price)...Lethal transformation for themselves...
Around 6+ hours of Screen on Time is very poor. Their cosing IQOO reach 11h 23 min screen on time with the same 4000 mAh battery.
DustinDust75, 26 May 2019Until wireless headphones sound as good as high grade wired headsets....there will be a large ... moreIts not that big as yu think.
THere are plenty wireless earphones and earplugs which sounds as good as wired ones.
You just need to know whichone to buy.
Wired audio is dead wireless is future and theses companies dont care what audience wants.
Just as apple since they ditched jack peope refused but still use apple.
Other brands such as Samsung Huawei, Xiaomi, LG, Sony etc when they ditch jack nobody would care as much as apple fans did.
Show must go on with or without jack.
And i hope and pray for without.
