Galaxy Note 10 Pro, 25 May 2019I own Mate 20 Pro, if Huawei could port this device to its home grown OS, and wait for its new... moreim asian but i am not please to develop apps and games for other o.s even they pay me millions. i develop with a heart and living simple so million is not my thing and lots of money makes you bad.
Anonymous, 25 May 2019China bans rare earth minerals for IPhone. Lose-lose. It's not just minerals for iphones but for all companies such like Qualcomm, ARM etc. etc. Chinaese minerals are 90% of all minerals, 80% of that buying who??? USA of course...people needs more information, especially Americans who thinks "their" companies are so strong. And yeah when American says "WE" don't want, "we" won't allow...do you really think anyone from the government will ask you what "YOU" will allow or not....
china deserved that. coz in Asia china is the no.#1 bully , claiming territory that is far away from china , delivering massive drugs and also no.#1 drug lords came from china. they are the biggest fetus that needs to abort !!
Vulpecula, 25 May 2019Possible, but not likely. Unlike Huawei ZTE and KONKA, Xiaomi and BBK(such as oneplus, vivo, o... moreStill going buy P30 still think Huawei give value for money even if they charge the OS. The Huawi capital even if this issue is resolved they should still put out there own OS. This seems more political game than actual concern. The consumer are the one who lose as Huawei push iPhone and Samsung to better
[deleted post]A difference perspective. Not everyone is narrowed minded.

PiT, 25 May 2019Ahahaha lol kid you'll stay alone only you and your banned phone lolNo he is not he only one. Who cares about the ban? It has no impact on the existing phones
MadMel, 25 May 2019every US tech company is tied with US gov.(steal and spy for them) and if that doesn't bother ... moreReally ?? You mean like when the government asked Apple to unlock an iPhone for them and Apple refused.
for real? retailer in my country thought so and gave discount, turn out the sales got huge spike. im looking for discounted p30, but telco still maintain the price
I own Mate 20 Pro, if Huawei could port this device to its home grown OS, and wait for its new devices launch, because it doesn't make any sense to make new devices without demonstration of safe future for its existing devices, I wouldn't mind keeping it for longer and go for new Huawei devices...the same ban can be applied for all Chinese brands and I don't see this exclusive to Huawei, hence emergency efforts to make alternative OS competing iOS and Android is a MUST for Asian region
Nortel Canadian Telecom that was State hacked, so badly by China led to the demise of the organization. Huawei business model is directly linked to the Chinese government along with ZTE, OPPO, and Xiaomi all operate with a mandate given to them by the Chinese state run intelligence programs.
Anonymous, 25 May 2019$435 you can get for mate 20 proWell you're right and that's a better specs phone. I did check and even the Mate 20 X, their best phone yet is around that price. Point is, the P30 launched 3 months ago and it's reduction is pretty significant (in second hand market). Funnily enough, Honor phones still hold their value well.
Kingslayer, 25 May 2019This is not an attack on Huawei themselves even though they became the scapegoat to all this. ... moreWell said my dear but I know you guys as I live in uae and wether you are half American half Pinoy
Kabayans are so obsessed with USA that I can't even describe it in words so what so ever you say that is your inferiority complex as a nation
And what so ever you say it's your words against more than 1000 ppl I came across from your country and I don't just want to mention how badly and madly they are under influence of being cool and being Americana
Next up Xaomi HMD Lenovo
I really hope the Americans get what's coming to them , this move was low handed ....
The only good thing that will come out of this that they gave a wakeup call to the world, and hopefully there will be alternatives. I can see how other firms will feel that they need to get out under that possible future blackmail. At least we will get a few monopoly's broken ...
DrakeX, 25 May 2019Meanwhile, some worried Huawei users are selling their phones for cheap. If you're lucky, you ... more$435 you can get for mate 20 pro
Gg bruh, 25 May 2019Good, they're getting a better phonesBetter? Samsung, probably yes.. but Xiaomi? Like hell no.
This is not an attack on Huawei themselves even though they became the scapegoat to all this. This is an attack on China. Trump doesn't want China's economy above ours and we don't want to help them get there.
As a Filipino-American who holds dual citizenship, I don't want to see China above us. I don't want them to steal our IPs only to sell it for less in their streets. Even though most of our stuff is made in China, I still don't want to support Chinese companies.
There's a difference between made in China and Chinese companies. I can't support the latter. If our stuff has to be made somewhere else, so be it. China is the biggest knockoff country ever. Americans lose billions with China's cheap knockoffs.
I wouldn't mind if Google severs ties with all Chinese OEMs. I've always wanted Google to finally close Android or make it more restrictive for our security. Again, if Google products need to be manufactured somewhere else, so be it. We're only making the Chinese rich.

Man because USA and mr. Trump have no proof of Huawei collecting vital informations i really hope that huawei fine US for all the lost this babn caused because of no proof of above they have all the right to force US and mr. Trump to the courts and let them bleed with money.
When US will have to pay then they will realise what kind of alien is leading their country.
Best wishes to Huawei and good luck.
