mick, 26 Feb 2012Im thinking of geting samsung wave l have an htc wildfire whitch is the best phoneThe Sony Ericsson Ray.
The wave suffers from low levels of support from 3rd party developers and if its the original wildfire you are talking about. it has a low res screen and sluggish processor.
I know you didn't mention the Ray but it has good specs and is only slightly more expensive.
Folks, enough of the stupid comments complaining about Bada 2.0 not being available. The fact of the matter is that Samsung releases firmware to mobile carriers (vodafone,O2, etc) who then test the f/w before releasing it vie Kies. A lot of carriers have already done this, but a lot of them seem to be taking their time (probably due to the release of Android's ICS). If you want Bada 2.0, talk to your mobile network company and stop clogging up review and news sites with your inane chattering. *Rant over*

Soon I'm going to post a video of me throwing away my 8500 from the highest tower in my town. I hope this gets their attention.

I have BADA 1.2 and when i connect to kies it says not supporting firmware i need to upgrade to higher version what shall i do
My version is still bada 1.0 it keeps saying that i have the latest version and i have the latest version of Samsung kies, which also says that my version is up to date has the 2.0 come out yet most of the apps on my phone require 2.0 but it wont let me update.
Please help me
Samsung Kies software provides Bada 2.0. Just connect your mobile phone to your computer through USB cable and the Kies will do the rest of it.
(make sure that you have installed Samsung Kies software on your computer)
No sound profiles (the greates minus, if you ask me), smaller keyboard, no photo editing (luckilly, there is an app - Phtot Editor), no Home screen in Task manager, shorter batery life (3 opposed to 5 days with 1.2), settings for major app only in general tab, two clicks to call or SMS (in 1.2 was swype right or left);
Pros: Better browser, better MM player, better Youtube, back button everywhere...
In general, step backward! :-(
Thank you Samsung bada, but switching to something else...
For those on Bada 2.0 already, what's the battery like? I had a play with Bada 2.0 on a Wave 3 phone and it seemed pretty nice
