Huawei is good smartphone brand allover

The Huawei ban is really the beginning of a twenty year conflict between the U.S. and China.

A very expected result. The asian market is a big market which includes India, China, and the southeast asian nations. What did the west expect when the US ban was declared? Do they expect the asian consumer to switch to uninnovative american brands like Apple and Google? Man, we asian consumers are far educated when it comes to choosing consumer electronics. We're not like the americans who buys products out of good marketing and advertising. Well apple and google is only good at those, they can't even improve the build quality of their devices. Samsung also is struggling in the camera department and have super slow charging speed in 2019. Well, we have no choice but to choose Huawei, better priced and better performing all-rounder. We also have Xiaomi that excels in the budget flagship category that offers far superior specs in their devices for a cheaper price. This greedy western companies can only pursuade gullible western consumers. Sorry for that.
Im trying to get rid if my p30 pro if some one wants..
Ppls still stick with this compney after all she did and the us ban
If Google really wanted to win in sales, they should close off every other OEM and be the only ones who can use Android. Take out all their services for every other third-party OEM out there. Stop being niche.
I would be curious who is more valuable? Android as a platform or Samsung as an OEM? If Samsung sinks, then it was Android all along that was far more important. I want to see Samsung use Tizen. It could be a better OS than Android and it still capture an audience the way Google has done for two decades.
Every current Android OEM should create their own OS. Google could very well do that to finally make their Pixel the most popular phones ever. More popular than iPhones because it's the only ones running Android and all of Google's services.

Ehm actually, i dont care wether Huawei will go bankrupt or not. I would only be happy to see the Trump's gang will lose. The natural instinct of every human being, to fight injustice.

ILoveSmartphones, 02 Jun 2019Huawei is a good company no doubt... but it will never beat Samsung. Samsung started in 1938. ... moreSeemingly you don't know anything about Samsung history. Look it up. Samsung was biggest crap manufacturer for decades. Samsung was the effing synonym for no quality. Yeah, it has been changed for recent decade or 2 put slips are there still. Note 7. Galaxy Fold. All those A series cameras and so on. I have just one Samsung product in my home. Microwave. Strangely it hasn't break down yet and even doesn't lag. Good job I guess.
I'm neither from US nor China. And I believe Huawei is more on the correct side, here are my reasons:-
1. Google have themselves done cheap stuff since long, like syping on people using their OS in hide of Legal agreements. Snowden has exposed this way before anyone thought it was feasible.
2. US executives destroyed Nokia's old OS'es (MeeGo & Symbian) in order to gain stronghold over people's data. Which explains why Stephen Elop got a hefty reward, for essentially destroying Nokia.
3. US Government hasn't posted a single proof of Huawei doing anything wrong, in fact their President states that "They might be able to crack a deal with Huawei". Oh really?
4. Till date, not a single widely available Android phone has switches of Mobile data/ GPS, etc into the phone. Privacy is what they're trying to destroy firstly.
5. If Huawei is wrong, Mi is too, Oneplus is too, Samsung is too. And still, the first wrong entity would be Google, or the US Agencies if they're the ones who're forcing Google... They all need our data.
I guess some new center is opening in the US deserts (Ohio or somewhere) which will "manage our data" now.
Its about time, you people stop favouring the West and stop granting it a "King of the world" right...
We're all free countries, meant to live in cooperation.
ikke, 02 Jun 2019This is why Samsung (or Nokia, Huawai) should continue the development of their own smart phon... moreNow every phone maker has learnt a lesson not to depend/trust goggle/android & will put plan-B on fast track. That is good for the market. I may buy a Hue-phone if i get a good deal..Not worried about updates since now a days no one updates after a year..
Anonymous, 02 Jun 2019The people here cheering for China wouldn't be so happy if they were sent to a Laogai. You kn... morewhile the laogai is an unfortunate reality of chinese ways. i dont really see the relevance of that here, this is a tech community web, not some alliance/movements against china. besides, i think ppl are just favoring huawei, and not china as a whole.
If i had a huawei phone i would keep it and if i was in buying new phone i will buy huawei just because i wont give even a single penny to any american greedy corporation especialy the crapple.
China should bancrapple and tells foxconn to stop making apple phones until the ban over huawei is lifted.
It's all about money and how to get it in simple way. Remember ZTE .
