my redmi note 6 pro is still running on andriod 9 outdated software for about 2 years passed kindly tell xiaomi to give andriod updates on redmi note 6 pro divice... thanks. gsm arena.

I updated my mi note5 pro today.
DO NOT UPDATE.
There is a noticable lag when opening an app.
App loading is noticably slower.
Of you are like me that likes using the double tap function to switch between apps, it's freaking slow compared before. Sometimes it will lag like crazy for a few seconds.

After this update you will not be able to use your mobile Wifi - Hotspot
You can get to know about this error on Google

And yes i got the may update with April security update. But i still dont have PIE on updates and there is no new update for the phone. Well see in few weeks maybe there will be something but i have no high hopes.

Not that i ... moreFace unlock is not limited to India region. Many region has face unlock features except in Europe because regulations set by European government.
If you remember exactly Redmi Note 5 pro launched with Android 7.1 nougat and then updated to Android Oreo and finally received android pie update
That's two android update
Just 15 days back Xiaomi released Oreo based update with April security patch and nowt hey are rolling out android pie based update with may security patch
Even stock android one powered Nokia mobiles received may security patch just 3 to 4 days back
