Xiaomi think that I am world's best company of phone meker brand but they forgot it was worth company ever and always make low quality phone maker .if you were already purchased of xiaomi 's phone then you saw always show error massage in camera ,battery life about 1 year.( Maximum 2 years ). So please guys don't purchase high end phone of xiaomi (redmi) brand .your budget about 10000 you can buy it . If you have much money then buy apple brand or Samsung only.

The invention itself has to be produced or a patent application containing the invention must be filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Now the question is, has Apple produced an actual device that follows the patent description?

Anonymous, 03 Jun 2019To me looks behind the glass, not behind the oled. I can see it below the earpiece. Used mi9 and noticed that onscreen fingerprint the camera hole under screen I think Xiamio did the same thing with hidden front facing camera.

Apple can be very good at anticipating trends but at the same time waiting for better minds to actually create a proof of concept. And then turn around and sue them. Proper dues to Oppo and Xiaomi for delivering a real product, where Apple and Samsung couldn't. I can also see many holes in this old patent that a good lawyer can work around. Don't forget that we consumers also want to benefit from this, and not just corporate lawyers and billion dollar companies.

Well no matter which company did it first the first time you break your screen your front camera is dead as well.
Same goes for underdisplay finderprint reader.
Until the front glass will be made from real shapphire like Vertu phones or some rugged phones got it this is just another fancy add on which have its vulnerabilities.
