"Maps will have a new UI, with a bar at the bottom that lets you store and then easily navigate to favorites. It also has Look Around, which is basically Apple's version of Google's Street View. "
After more than 6 years in the game, the MAIN concern is is it still a PITA to use for navigating places ACCURATELY?? Because Google Maps have generally served us well since the beginning.
"Apple's built-in keyboard has acquired swipe typing functionality, something that Android keyboards have been rocking for years."
Welcome to 2012!! /s
Anonymous, 06 Jun 2019Yep. In the garage with your mamYou are funny.
Every kid knows apple started its bussines in garage.
My mom wasnt there maybe yours.
Steeve and his friends needed some slave for dirty work.
CptPower, 05 Jun 2019Now??? Apple copies from beggining they started their bussiness back in garage. Yep. In the garage with your mam
Blacktoothgrin, 03 Jun 2019Yes I agree, , but bare in mind, OnePlus was already flying high with very good gestures, even... moreStill doesn't change the fact that Apple had them before those companies

Youre clearly the miserable one.
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2019Its just me that thinking if iOS already has swipe keyboard on older iOS before? I mean, its j... moreIt was available for ages. But swype and swiftkey. Apple allowed third party keyboards as default keyboards back when the iphone 5s was released.
Proves you don't know anything about apple and you are just miserable. You only feel happy by bashing others cos it makes you feel better about your pathetic life.
HoldEm, 03 Jun 2019Someone is mad because now Apple just follow others. Now??? Apple copies from beggining they started their bussiness back in garage.
abigfanoftechs, 05 Jun 2019Oh yeah, Apple are bringing their A game again. ;-) I saw recently that Google copied dark mo... moreNah, android copied Dark Mode from Windows Phone. Same as they copied Glance Screen from Nokia/Windows Phone (always on display).
Oh yeah, Apple are bringing their A game again.
;-) I saw recently that Google copied dark mode from iOS 13.
Its just me that thinking if iOS already has swipe keyboard on older iOS before? I mean, its just basic function why now they release it haha
I've been using dark mode on my OnePlus One for years because of CyanogenMod/OS and now with Oxygen OS on my OnePlus 6T, and swipe keyboards have been around for ages, I remember how impressed my iPhone using friend was when he saw me swiping for the first time. Can't believe it took Apple this long to implement these two basic features.
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019yeah, because all of your android updates now are adding things that Apple have had for ages. ... moreWow... You mean despite all the things iOS takes from Android.... Like the command center from the earliest of Droid versions... Androids are the ones copying for the few things they take.. or that have been on both but are just getting better implementation finally?
Do even logic bro?
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Finally, apple catches up my galaxy S2 thanks to IOS13.Lmao!! But it's true
Dolanescu, 04 Jun 2019Windows mobile... the best GUI(graphical user interface)... the only thing good in windows mobile...In your opinion. It was nice. I like it. But best is your personal opinion.
So they are finally working on stability, optimizing, and feature/function.
And they are finally giving some more tech.
Congratulations iPhone users.
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019*cough* Android only gets its official dark mode on its /next/ release too (probably).Because iPhones only started using OLED panels last year, and a dark theme is more plausible for battery savings. And made by Samsung. Add stereo audio video recording, better hi-res cameras, higher internal memory capacity, swipe texting, and widgets, I got myself sort of the Android phone I've been using 5 years ago!
Yup, I am an iPhone XS and iPad Pro 2018 user.
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Im reffering to Samsung phones since they run on Android and they are a direct competition to apple.I know, I'm just pointing out you're comparing Apples to kumquats.
NL, 04 Jun 2019I'm currently still using a 2014 KitKat now. It's a system-wide dark mode alright.Exactly.

Dolanescu, 04 Jun 2019Windows mobile... the best GUI(graphical user interface)... the only thing good in windows mobile...I differ with you 180° on that. While it was very capable for the time, shrinking the standard Windows UI to a qVGA screen was far from ideal - those finicky little stylii were necessary. Unless you mean Windows Phone, but I was not a fan of the tile and overflow text thing either.
