Every phone should come out like this.
European law dictates that any gsm has to be sold with a 2y warranty minimum and as far as Dutch law says you can always expect a warranty that is reasonable regarding the product... ( e.g. cheap mp3 player less than an expective washing machine)... So no warranty = no go...
Disappointed.
Might as well release a method to unlock the bootloaders of the RAZRs already out there, like what SE has for their 2011 lineup so their locked bootloaders are of no issue at all.
The DE comes with a bootloader still locked from my understanding, and one must follow methods Motorola has placed up online to unlock it, and the same method does not apply for other RAZRs elsewhere.
This in effect, is a moot move, as ROMs developed for the RAZR DE cannot be placed onto the normal RAZRs out there, nor can Motorola's unnecessarily bloated BLUR UI be rid of.
Might as well keep the warranty and release a bootloader unlocking method. Those willing to experiment with custom ROMs and are also capable with tinkering with the hardware need no stinking warranty in the firstplace.
