Still can't see how 35mbps will stream up to 4k60 game. With low latency. Not going to happen in the real world. Then you have bandwidth throttling with certain providers in the UK. So imagine streaming Assasins Creed in 4k then come 6pm. Your connection goes down to 8mbps. Lag lag lag

Latencies will never go to 0 when playing online because you'd need some supercomputers to compress the image and on top of that come directly to your home without in-between hops. That is not how the Internet was/is designed (to support streaming gaming). All streaming gaming platforms will die unless and until a game specific network which is separate from Internet is developed. It will prolly be wireless and will involve billions satellites so you'd have only one hop between you and the main server, if say your main server is in your country the signal would not have to travel more than 1000 miles, so you'd only lose only 5ms in " travel time", another 5 on the "hop" (the satellite) and another 10 ms on the compression decompression of the image , an additional 1-3 ms from your monitor and another 1-3 ms from your keyboard/controller. So 30 ms total latency.
Google's idea of it already uses 60-200 ms on the hops. It's ridiculous it will never work, have fun basically not having the ability to game above 10-15 (of felt) FPS.... Just ridiculous...

Online gaming is already problematic, but own accepts the downsides for the sport it offers (competing against other players). Imagine if *everything* was streamed. I have issues with streaming (everything) within my home network, (nvidia shield and stuff) imagine how worse it will be if my game (stream) would have to make 40-50 more hops to reach me... What a ridiculous idea. Google better stay where you have a chance in making difference...
I just hope this won't result in end of conventional gaming and privacy. I'd still like to game on and on on my Windows 7 machine.
I can already see a little delay between input and reaction, in the posted video.
Google can give a satisfactory experience to all by ensuring the below:-
1. Give multiple colour options. If one guy has a weaker internet, he should be served a 16 bit or 12 bit video and not the original 24 bit. More colors means more bandwidth required and this will slow down stuff for slower internet users, probably giving lesser fps or so..
2. Audio stream should be choosable too, right from 64 kbps AAC which is good quality to 320 kbps AAC, which is awesome.
3. In Multiplayer, if multiple users lose internet feed, the game should pause. For example, in a 16 player game, if 3-4 lose internet suddenly or one after another, the game should pause for all, to ensure fairness.
4. Micro-delays can be introduced for the moment when the user isn't sending any input, because it could be due to lag. There should be microsecond delay, that should look seamless.

Leash a decent used PC that can play the games ok on normal or low settings. At least you dont need to pay to play the game you already bought out.

And not everyone will be using mobile data for it. Moreover, the main point of game streaming is not needing to have high end PCs/Consoles, mobile gameplay is just the additional benefit. Those games aren't designed for such small screens.
Paying 10 euros a month and not having even a single game in it is complete waste.
