im from Malaysia and im using telco named Digi. Its download speed is only 2mbps on Galaxy S10 😂
leledumbo, 11 Jun 2019Too many possibilities, but I believe it doesn't distinguish based on device. It's a connectio... morebased on your name, probably from indonesia...
sorry if i'm mistaken ...
yep, i don't think speed itself will be number one priority because my ISP (MyRepublic) never failed, the best internet provider.. never lag when playing steam game (dota2 etc)...
and mobile phone (telkomsel) which is slower, stadia speed test almost identical with manual speed test
That ping better always be below 30ms, otherwise Multiplayer is going to suffer. Still better to have your own hardware.
exia0017, 11 Jun 2019connection speed from ISP .. Download 58.60 Mbps... Upload 21.47 Mbps... Ping 3ms... usi... moreToo many possibilities, but I believe it doesn't distinguish based on device. It's a connection speed test web anyway. So it's either the server or your computer (VPN for example), or something between them.
connection speed from ISP ..
Download 58.60 Mbps...
Upload 21.47 Mbps...
Ping 3ms...
using speedtest and fast.com , both almost identical..
stadia result...
your download speed of 0.641 Mbps is below ...
Your connection isn't ready...
Using mobile phone with half of the download and upload speed...
your download speed of 21.012 Mbps...
connection is good..
how?
It only measures bandwidth, but seems to ignore latency, which is more complicated than just sending an IDCMP Ping packet.
Both the user's QoS settings and the ISP's policies will affect the real latency between the user and Stadia, so the "ping value" means very little today.
Popy, 11 Jun 2019I can't access that page from indiaThat's because Stadia won't be available in India.
Ugggh. Google/Youtube needs a proper speed test to their GCN/DCN servers. Hard to believe they don't have it while I use Netflix's fast.com these days versus speedtest.net
Dolanescu, 11 Jun 2019This is great, I hope this will be available soon... I have a 1GB connection with 1ms ping 1 Gb*
But still
Where does that 1 Gb internet connection come from?
4k
HDR
60 fps
5.1 Dolby Surround Sound
backed by a company that kills products and services only to be replaced by a new chat app
I played Neotokyo pub matches on US/EU servers and they average like 180ms ping, played from SE Asia. I have a fibre connection of up to 12Mbps
Speed isn't everything man, happy at 720p at 60fps, but not with anything above 100ms ping
"Google recommends at least 10Mbps down in order to stream at 720p @ 60fps + stereo, 20Mbps to stream HDR 1080p @ 60fps + 5.1 surround, and at least 30-something Mbps to stream HDR 4K @ 60fps + 5.1 surround."
They are talking about download speed? or overall connection?
In my country I have 100mbps download / 10Mbps upload
Where does that qualify me?
Funny Stadia cost 150 bucks plus 10 per month of use and no games are included in this price.
Please tell me who would buy this???
Compared to world most played game ever made World of Warcraft this going to be a baloon which will plop like bubblegum.
This is great, I hope this will be available soon... I have a 1GB connection with 1ms ping
Does Google think this is the same as streaming videos? They should have focused on latency.
Well considering that the test gave back false results (download speeds were more than 15mbps faster than I can get anywhere else), I don't trust their claims about how well it will play.
