Not to mention expensive, paying an extra $3 on top on the $800 (that the tab will undoubtedly cost) would reaaaally set me back.

Tabs need more ram than phones. Hope it will scale up to 12GB, else SD 855 gets wasted somewhat (it maxes @ 12GB of ram).
More ram on a tablet that runs Ubuntu via a docker implementations make complete sense, on phones it's just "coolness" point. It is great that they decided to go all the way w SD 855, but don't let us stranded add more ram options!

Good move from Samsung just needs to make apps that works for there tablets only same as iPad even though if they develop an special apps through there galaxy store that specified for galaxy tab only.

Apple with iPadOS ate a large chunk of potential buyers for this.
For "average" user I don't see any plus point over iPad except for that amazing amoled display.
iPad is much better in my opinion.

16.9 aspect ratio please. We've been asking Samsung to make more tablets with 16.9 aspect ratio screen since the galaxy tab s. Please make a nice one with small bezels.
