I was looking forward to this phone, but no headphone jack might make it a deal breaker for me. I hate having something extra to charge like Bluetooth headphones or worrying about keeping track of a dongle.
Why do they keep on following a trend that no one likes. They can make a load of good marketing as still offering whilst those who claim to never settle have settled.. Why are they giving in to a useless trend that no one likes.. Bring back the headphone jack!!
3.5mm Jack Fetishist, 18 Jun 2019Please say sikeNah dude, I really want there to still be a headphone jack. As it stands, the tenth anniversary phones aren't anything special. A headphone jack is one of the most iconic things about Samsung
No galaxy note 10e?? Thisll help people who cant afford s10 o note10
Kiyasuriin, 17 Jun 2019Keeping my note 9... I won't use a device without a headphone jack.Same, Bluetooth hasn't advanced enough to completely replace the quality you get from a headphone jack. With Samsung removing the headphone jack in the Note 10, they're dooming it.
Anonymous, 18 Jun 2019Why though....... Wired headphones suck. No they don't. Having to pay for new ones when I have good wired ones suck. Not being able to plug into my audio aux in the car suck.
Eric, 18 Jun 2019Same here. Hate the fact that flagships now dont have headphone jackWhy though....... Wired headphones suck.

Let Samsung know with your wallets, that you want the headphone jack to stay!
Dr.X, 17 Jun 2019You know i really don't care about the jack anymore, i bought a fiio x7 mk2 and the sound it r... moreI have Chord Mojo and a good DAP with digital output.
But I listen to tons of podcasts every day and I never speak into my phone, only the headset.
Can't speak into my DAP.
Hence the need to connect a proper, battery free, wired 3.5mm headset into my phone.
this is true, 17 Jun 2019i bought wireless headphones and the quality is worse and battery is a factor/ but after payin... moreYes. And EVERYBODY who wanted could still use their cheap crappy BT wireless headphones , even IF phones had 3.5mm jack, because all phones have BT.
They could even use their USB-C digital only wired battery headsets , because pretty much all phones have a USB-C connector.
Now that there is NO 3.5 mm connector, the MAJORITY of people can't use their 3.5mm headphones.
If this is not stupid anti-consumer move, I don't know what is.
Greed rules the world.
Thankfully there is LG, Asus and Xiaomi...

Dr.X, 17 Jun 2019You know i really don't care about the jack anymore, i bought a fiio x7 mk2 and the sound it r... moreas much as I love the first-gen iPod Touch with its Wolfson DAC, a phone with that DAC and a jack is the way to go.
LG is killing it on the audio dept
There was one time I still remember 3 years ago, when the S8 is set to be a very radically different device, a LOT of the leaks got wrong from its very first case leak that was even made IRL:
>no headphone jack
>both lock/volume buttons on the left side
>unconventional camera placement
>some reason included an S Pen
Seems like the traits of a possibly inaccurate leak, hopefully this is the case, I don't believe Samsung is giving up the jack yet.
Hmm the problem is hands down samsung makes the best stylus phones.. The rest are not even worth mentioning.. So i may not bave a choice but to go for one.. Considering how useful it is in my work flow
Kiyasuriin, 17 Jun 2019Keeping my note 9... I won't use a device without a headphone jack.Yup so am I.
You know, it is 2019 and they have this awesome thing, is called Bluetooth. It makes it so you can get out of the Stone Ages and not need to use the stupid headphone jack. If you won't use a phone just because of its lack of a headphone jack, go back to your flip phone because you don't deserve to even own a current gen phone.
this is true, 17 Jun 2019i bought wireless headphones and the quality is worse and battery is a factor/ but after payin... moreMy BT headphones lasts up to 20 hours of playback, and quality is reasonably good. And can be used wired or wireless, for added versatility.
ProJames-CHM, 17 Jun 2019Yep, the days of a trusted, reliable and efficient connector are numbered because dumb custome... moreSadly, most customers are dumb, so yeah, we are witnessing the end of the jack. I hope poor sales of jacklesd phones helps to turn the tide.
