2012 is the year of WP. It will be the year WP rises into prominence and the start of Android's decline. Nokia made the right choice and WP is the way forward.

Hey, 99$ is a very cool price. For this smartphone it's really cheap (4,3" CBS, excellent design, snappy, ...).

For the level of performance I think you cannot have better at this price, and maybe at a higher price too !

MR.flop, don't blame salesmen ,why should they promote a featureless OS when they have a well moving OS platform 'Android' .retailers dont want to cheat their customers as per your demands.you and microcrp failed to build wp7 as per people's demands hence blaming retailors is ridiculous!
We should expect some thing like this in near future :-wp7 will be a flop like webos since its failed to satisfy smartphone users but wp8 would take the controls of tablets also Nokia will come back to its killed Meego platform or the saviour android

Elop is just so stupid with every word that come out of his mouth! Release the N9 world-wide and then will see that salesmen will recommend it, not Lumia!!!

I can see people preferring this over buying it on AT&T. I don't think most people would like having the AT&T brand stamped in front of their face all the time. Plus, the Lumia is just too sexy for that.

So what is the total price? Preordering of this would make sense, but tell me the ...king price! If it is on a reasonable level I will get one of these.

well I had to look at all major platforms (iOS,Android, WP7 and Blackberry) And I must say WP7 is the fastest and smoothest one. I like the OS but I am still with android because of the quantity and low prices for apps. Perhaps I'll move to windows phone after version 8.

I really like Windows phone lately, especially the tablets.
Wondering if I should buy the S2 or wait for a good Samsung Windows phone. It would be a nice integration between all windows 8 platforms.

Do what the competitors do: offer higher commissions.

Salespeople will sell whatever they can to make a buck. That's life in the marketplace. WP7 Mango is up to speed with the latest expectations for functionality and performance - it's up to MS, Nokia et al to provide incentives so that salesmen will actually recommend it.

I am the type of person who studies the specs of what I'm buying and end up knowing more than the sales person themselves. I tend to believe what Elop says because the easy way out for salespeople is to quote what is already selling on the market and not what the product truly offers -- no need to understand what the product could do.

                                    the reason is simple
                                    that because WP7 is 5uck.
it has the highest return rate
because user don't really want it.
