Nice way to get an electric shock or even worse overheating than the Lumia 920, One X or M4 Aqua (they all surpass 50°C). The Lumia 820 (max. 48°C) and the Lumia 1520 (max. 49°C) get close. IMO phones should not be more than 43°C under load.

This needs a whole field to explore into basically unknown territory of new battery capacity. This may take decades for it to improve from it's current tech. With most new tech exploration slowing down in favored of current knowledge since about 15 years ago. Don't hold your breathe too long you would die from the wait! LOL!

Fast charging will damage your battery or steeply reduce the life of the battery. I usually charge my Samsung A9 pro 2016 and Samsung A70 between 200 to 600 mA current for 8 to 9 hours (10% to 98 or 99%). Similarly I charge my Samsung Note 4 at 1000 mAh for 3 to 3.5 hours. I have the charging cable of LG G3 adaptor that will charge at 1800 mAh. I won't use that mostly except when I need to charge fast.

Personally..i love this..but for safety reasons it should be 100% in 20 mins so it should charge for 7-8mins..cool for 4 mins and charge the rest...and fast charging should be only accessible when the phone is off..so in other words...20 mins of no phone time..for 5-8hrs of use..seems legit to me

The trick behind the fast charge is dividing the 4000 battery into 10x400 small batteries then use 10 watts for each .. they will charge together very fast.
and for 10 batteries each 10 watts you use 100 watts power supply.
think of it as charging ten phones each wit h10 watts power and 400 capacity each

Goddamn , companies had solved all this w replaceable batteries (had one charge while using the other) and after sealing them they try to reinvent the wheel with worse and worse results each time (this one will kill your battery in half a year guaranteed for example)....

Do you actualy see such a big improvement in real life us? Or just specks on a sheet. Or follow "the norm" because that's what ppl ask for. Usualy companies sell what ppl want not what is necesarily better product. Or indroduce some features for "braging rights", not that you can see real differences, but il looks better on paper.
