it's called don't ship so many and make it seem you sold alot -_- same crap apple has been doing from before
I was an iphone user till the release of the nokia lumia 800. It is the best nokia ever. With windows mobile 7.5 called mango i made an experience that i must say i have all things which i need in a stylish mobilephone. A really good display, 8 mpx kamera 1.4 GHz Processor.... And about apps.. All the famous apps are in the marketplace... Angrybirds, fragger, tuneinradio, whatsapp, twitter, facebook.. And got also all office software OneNote, Word, Excel, Outlook. So what i want to say is with lumia 800 i got what i need.
The good selling Lumia 800 may be good for Nokia - but not for Power User, such I am. Over 10 Years I hat Nokia phones, my last one was N900, now I haveN9. If it would be the last Phone from Nokia with an OPEN OS, I will move to other Mobile OS: Android or WHATEVER. BUT NOT TO WINDOWS. Windows CE, Windows Mobile, Windows Phone -> NO CHANCE. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS M$-BULL-$xITT !
AnonD-4697, 03 Feb 2012Very nice. Microsoft partnership start to make sense around....Hey, What happened to the Red Hat?? :)
I for one seriously consider a Windows Phone for my next. If Nokia would make a model with a microSD-slot then they would make my list.
Feel sorry for the Old-Nokia style fanboys about Symbian or MeeGO, but there still phones around with those OS (well unless N9 for MeeGO). But there is point of no return here, WP7 just heated or Love it, but you can't get rid of these Microsoft stuff.....
Very nice. Microsoft partnership start to make sense around....
ex-nokia fan, 03 Feb 2012nokia is going down hill---big time they just don't realize it yet android and ios are soooo... moreIts premature to say that nokia is going down. people are right that they won't have that kind of dominance they had earlier, but isn't that true of any brand. Wait and see how the windows ecosystem firms up. windows pcs and mobiles that easily talk to each other can be unbeatable if played right. and of course its the best looking OS out there. iOS and android fail in the visual appeal department compared to windows.
Tiny Lumia 800 is already an outdated phone since 2012! They should stop selling this device.Nokia bring something competitive
ex-nokia fan, 03 Feb 2012nokia is going down hill---big time they just don't realize it yet android and ios are soooo... moredefine the terms far ahead, and next who are u to judge on whats down hill and whats up the ladder, just because 60% andriods are powered by gingerbread of 500,000 apps rule the market it doesnt mean that the future is stable enough, a leather company turned around to be a global leader in mobile technology, its the brand that matters and the trust, samsung is having its own time like nokia had, that never makes a product deplete nor it gives you right to criticize, its a product cycle, live with it :)
Get Meego..!!!
Stevieo2, 03 Feb 2012how is the Lumia 800 only being released in Finland.. that dosn't make sense, are you sure its... morewell its the Nokia land they call home....
I think it hadto release in the USA first due to it being windows and all.. Thisphone is killer awesome.
It seems that Nokia Lumia 800 that was released in Sweden just 10 days ago are going to be sold out very soon.
Anonymous, 03 Feb 2012Congrats to nokia/microsoft for selling 500 phones. Better luck next time. Lol, you got it right:-D
this happened back in 2007 with the original iphone (globally), only the first iphone was awful, the lumia 800 is much more functional in a modern world and can easily be selected over the iphone 4 and possibly a dual core phone.
how is the Lumia 800 only being released in Finland.. that dosn't make sense, are you sure its not the 900?
nokia is going down hill---big time
they just don't realize it yet
android and ios are sooooo far ahead!!
sorry nokia, you have to do more to regain our trust!
cheers
AnonD-36830, 03 Feb 2012When I bought my first smartphone, the Xperia X10, I was in love with Android. I was fanboy. N... moreDown with fanboyism. There are just THINGS. Some people act like its life or death. All mobile Os have their ups and downs. I wish more people were as grown up as you
Congrats to nokia/microsoft for selling 500 phones. Better luck next time.
When I bought my first smartphone, the Xperia X10, I was in love with Android. I was fanboy. Now that I tried WP7, I'm done with fanboyism. Lesson learned? Be more open-minded to other products! Time to switch to WP!
