You want a cheap Dual Core you buy the Galaxy R. Why would anyone want to pick up this phone with its sub-par hardware?
Plus if history is any indication Samsung can't be counted on upgrading it's lower end device's software either...

same old galaxy clone again and again and again. Nothing different. Boring. Maintain some standard sumsung by adding some different technique to every phone u launch. We need one phone per month rather than five.

Yawn, another black, brick Galaxy. Why are there so many Galaxies now? I get it Samsung. The Galaxy S was a big seller, but what the point of putting the Galaxy brand on every phone that isn't even high end. BOOOORRRRIIINGG.

the backside os boring. Samsung! if you are doing something then do it completely. copying only the frontside will not do, copy the back side also (ofcourse from apple). then this would sell better becoz peoples love apple styling. it is eminent from the back that your proprietary styling is boring!

galaxy R is out here for 250€, this one has less ram and slightly smaller screen, and although the name of the dual core cpu is not specified yet, this device should cost less than galaxy R: maybe for 200€ this would be a good buy in 2012!

Phone is very impressive, lags a little in RAM compared to Galaxy R, I had planned to buy Galaxy R this weekend, now will have to wait for this Phone's review. if someone can confirm this is not a match to Galaxy R i can still go with R this weekend...!! :-)
