well I kinda like the idea of any of those puchhole cameras, but I really love to see the camer of the zenfone 6, and Samsung A80. I love the concept that your rear camera is the same with your front cam.

A notch is a notch, a part of the frame drops down on the screen and I could live with that. But having live pixels around the hole makes it look like dead pixels, I hate dead pixels!

Anonymous, 24 Jun 2019No one will buy thisthere was a poll about one month ago that showed that at least 25% of the people don not want / do not need a front camera. generally speaking, the profy (company phones) users do not need / use front cameras. profy / company videoconferences, most cases, are not held on smartphones, for safety / multiusers / share screen / etc reasons and the company phones are not meant to take self-mug-pictures.

Notches and holes are way better than bezels. You can just disable them and get that small bezel.

Ideal would be 4 under screen(and no holes) or pop out, like its the only way now for flagships with multiple mid range being faster to innovate.
But no matter where is it, hopefully will someone apply change to where the eyes look(not just down from camera view) based on where we are looking at the content of stream, persons eyes, body etc.. or is it already done?
I guess multiple sensors is a must then... like on firephone.

I can live without front camera but holes are very ugly. Notches are better.

I really don't like notches and punch-hole design, its basically useless and takes more space than bezels. While gaming and watching videos notches and punch-hole are hidden with thick black bars so its actually wasting screen space while using battery (only applies to TFT and IPS display not AMOLED) without any benefit.

I'd rather have a thicker bezel with camera and front firing speakers on it than extra screen space with notch or punch-hole without any benefit. Thicker bezels also somewhat decreases the chance of breaking the front glass.
