in this price-range som... moreoverpriced? So you rather buy a half as powerful device with a worse camera for twice the price?
I think it's the price worthiest upper midrange phone that exists...
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2019Why do you need sim card when you can call from WhatsApp via wifi ?Is that your answer to my question?
Nicolas F, 01 Jul 2019Look at width, not diagonal.70mm is still wide. To be considered compact, the width needs to be 65mm or less.
Is this the K20 Pro? Because K20 is reviewed already.
I don't know how, being a Redmi fan, I'm so confused for the first time that I can't even recognize a phone properly...
Anonymous, 01 Jul 20194-5" is just tiny, not compact. 6" for 19.5:9 is compact.6" is not compact, its shovel, even without bezels. iPhone knows what people want, their compact phones sell well and new iPhone will be 5.4" bezelless full display phone. Sad that android phone makers just push clients away and target only shovel lovers.
Anonymous, 01 Jul 2019Why do you need that when you have always on display? Why do you need sim card when you can call from WhatsApp via wifi ?
Anonymous, 01 Jul 20194-5" is just tiny, not compact. 6" for 19.5:9 is compact.Just no.
5 inches with regular bezels is compact. 4 inch is small. Anything bigger than 5.2 inches, even if it had damn negative bezels, is just big.
The sad truth is, there's very, very limited options for compact smartphones, and literally NO small smartphones from renomed brands to choose from today.
147x70 mm, nearly 6 inch dispay is compact???????????????
get your mind together, that's not even untrue anymore, that's outright a lie.
make smartphones compact again
i mean 4-5" compact, not 6" "compact"

Mi9 SE; I believe one of it's most important advantages is it's user friendly design. Though it still has potential to improve, yet we appreciate Xiaomi's efforts to bring such a phone to life.
Nowadays companies are obsessed with just putting better specs on phones too much. Inevitably this has made phones grow in size. It's the limit i think. Companies better understand that the most user friendly size for phones normally is under 6 inch. Of course, we can even make a 13 inch phone with a laptop's specs; Such a beast! But, it's silly.
I swear one of the best phones I used this year, cheap and premium, amazing specs and fast. No complains.
Just got mine and very happy with it. Not regretting for not buying s10e or p30.
sm4rt4ss, 01 Jul 2019I'm currently choosing between the Mi9SE, S10e or P30. It's a hard choice. S10e if you got the cash. If you want to save some, however, the Mi 9 SE is a super cool phone. Premium mid-range.
I would avoid the Huaweis for now

in this price-range some last years flagship phones offer all that and even much more ...
f.e. much better global radio-coverage
that never tested/ mentioned here, but why are these not phones?!
