AnonD-28549, 09 Feb 2012I take offense calling Lumia a high end device.Hahahaha lol. You obviously don't understand what a high end device is all about. It's the performance and usability, not just some specs on paper. *sigh* wake up. You don't realize that the manufacturers only release monster spec phones just because they want people like you to buy the phones. Dual core isn't even yet needed nor supported well enough on GGB so there is no way it could improve the performance that much. And yes I assume you're an Android fanboy according to your comment content.

I think you meant to say efficient since they're great at that too.

meanwhile nokia employees will celebrate 1 year after the groundbreaking "burning platform" letter from Mr. Elop. People jumped into cold sea and drown there.

Nokia doesn't do specs. They do the overall feel and experience. And the current unibody chassis with WP7 feels almost perfect. I wonder what the next high-end will be... WP8? A powerful DAC chip? Lithium-titanate battery? Solar charging? 22nm SoC? Who knows, as long as the entire experience in the both short and long term is fluid, fun and productive, I'll buy it.

[deleted post]In terms of specifications (eg. looking at numbers on a specs sheet), probably. In terms of how the device actually performs, a different story.

bimi, 08 Feb 2012why nokia does not use android on their phones -.- There are different reasons for that. Major one is they will run into different proprietary issues and there will be tons of lawsuits against them. I'm not saying that this is not the case with other manufacturers, it's just the matter of Nokia's preference. They don't want to get into this dirty game and they have opted to WP7. I think they have made a good and long-lasting decision. They can afford losses for a couple of years, and whenever they will be on par with Android/iOS, you can imagine how good it would be for them. No royalties per set as other manufacturers are giving to MS. :-P This is just one reason from hundres of valid reasons. A nob can see them, sorry but its true.
