russ, 24 Feb 2012did anyone see that lag while scrolling? ICS was supposed to obliterate that??!??!You do realize it's not the final build, so it's not going to be properly optimized for android 4.0 or the hardware. It's sense, not android that's the problem.

anku, 14 Feb 2012Only good thingsk about htc is its sense and design You got it right. I love the Sense UI and overall designs of HTC smartphones. Just not that comfortable with the various issues their smartphones can exhibit. But with all their issues, I still love HTC more than any other. Maybe Sony's new smartphones could steal the show from them if care ain't taken.

Daca, 13 Feb 2012Tottaly agree,on my GS2 i have Go Launcher Ex with ICS Theme and do works great. The funny thing is on my SGS2 I put Go Launcher and Sense themes + Widget Locker with Sense 3.0 theme, so I get a look a like Sense 3.0. Then bought an HTC Sensation XE because I liked Sense 3.0, which after 2 weeks of purchase went right to the Shop for service (dust under screen issue) and I still don't have it back. So now I am even more disappointed with Sense 4.0.

Impressive work by HTC. I can see the hard work they put into their Sense UI to help differentiate their products form that of their competitors. But I can't help but worry that Apple or other competitors will look at Sense UI 4.0 and patent everything they can from it, even thought they don't use those patents for anything other than stifling competition.

I did a survey before for my my App Development course with the HTC sensation, Galaxy s2, Sony Ericsson xperia arc s and the LG optimus 3D. I asked 647 people and 94% of the people I asked said that the animations on HTC looked cool but it was way too complicated to use for regular and daily use. And remember people the most people who will be buying these phones will be regular users not like some of us who try to experiment. The galaxy s2 got the most votes with 67% saying it was the easiest one to use. The xperia arc got 16% and the Optimus 3D got 11%. So yes the HTC sence does look really cool but for normal users its too complicated to use that is why you see people like Iphones because of simplicity I personally don't Like Iphones but I guess if you want to sale you are gonna have to make something that everyone can relate too.
