Also needs to have at least a 4 inch screen and a good battery as the last 4 phones blackberry introduced were killed with the ridiculous weak batteries.

Looks great just hope they improve their market applications with more choice and the way it downloads where it had to restart your phone every time an app is downloaded. One of the main reasons blackberry became unattractive when compared to the iOS and android and now WM 7.5 mango.the front camera they added is definately a plus for the skype users. Blackberry needs a few home runs otherwise they will join the ranks of the dead those who were once great companies.

Looks good to me and perhaps shows BB are not prepared to die yet. BBs need more colour in them and this is a step forward. The SMS function is particularly dull as is the calendar and diary so any improvement on these fronts is welcomed.

Could end up being the biggest court fiasco if the whole OS looks like it was cut and pasted from every other OS on the market...

This is a better looking UI than the traditional BB UI.!! Some thing sure seems cooking at the BB camp.If this is true maybe BB will wake-up & avoid losing more customer's. BB pre-dominantly needs to usher in a more attractive design to entice their existing customer base so they would be encouraged to upgrade....or else why would anyone in their sane mind would spend their hard-earned nickels on something that looks outright outdated....
BB should do something like LEFLUER!!
Dont piss people with same boring crushed to death design!!!

I see styling hints in there from Symbian, iOS, Android, WP7, webOS and MeeGo!

Cherry picking all the good features from all OSes, without the bad, could be a recipe for success!

Or it could leave you with a bland "me too" OS with no real innovation or character of it's own...

We shall have to wait and see. Just get it out ASAP Blackberry, because it really will be DoA if you leave it much longer.

BB already the most secure, most productive smartphone and now looks like it will pass the competition in style too!

LoL. Looks like MeeGo is mixed up with iOS. RIM with CrapBerries is going down and fast!

By the time BBOS 10 is out, IOS and andriod would have upped their game. Sigh, unless BBOS 10 doesnt need BB's internet service, maybe then i would take a peek. If not i will just stick to IOS.

I have always like BB but I dont think BB will be a survivor if they stick to that high priced phones. Better choice is Nokia Belle 701 or any Nokia Belle phone. Sorry but BB will not survive.

crackberry show the picture of Blackberry? no dear it's also CRACKberry sure ,if they want their loyal fans back then they must produce some affordable touchscreen(like strom)with pure multitasking and expand their Software market with some cool games, otherwise they will loose their current Blackberry user too! Anyway thanks for some acceptable UI though!
