SGS2 and SGS3 benchmarks will suck against intel based android.

Galaxy S fanatics will begin to bash intel based androids soon.

Their beloved S2 and future S3 will be crap because of benchmark regardless of feature.

intel single core >>>>>>>>>>>>dualcore S2 and quadcore S3

This beast can run a full desktop OS if it has enough capacity. If Intel puts enough effort into this LOB they will surely come up with a TRUE palmtop.

                Android on a x86?!!!

that would kill the battery in the first 5 seconds from the booting.

Hope this changes Intel's fate in Mobile devices. they had a bad experience earlier.

i am waiting to see how Intel lowers the heat generation at peak loads

So theoretically Windows 7 x86 could be run on it resources permitting? If the device had 64 GB of internal storage then theoreitcally this becomes a reality. Of course it would in all probability absolutely crawl but it would be interesting to see if anyone could at least get it to work, even if badly for now.

Forget ICS and Goolgotha, would this be a candidate for a true Linux port?
With the merger now looking set the questions become will the spotty boot unlocker track record get better or worse?
If better, how likely a true Linux port?
A genuinely useful mobile desktop CPU/GPU all-in-one device has been a geeks true Flying White Unicorn forever.

This is very interesting and I look foward to seeing this device. The biggest advantage ARM chipsets have over intel X86 is battery life. If intel have managed to address this issue then we could see a whole new wave of X86 phones coming to market.

The possiblity of running full programmes on your phone sounds very appealing to me I wonder if this will catch on

WOW! IDK, but this is a really good looking device and the UI, looks GREAT! I also love how Motorola took ICS morphed it with there latest UI, and upgraded it even further.
