the 2 above posters are not samples. the 4 pics in below are supposed to be samples,
still they are mind blowing, what is huawei doing? if those samples are real i am certainly sold this device but i won't keep my hopes high, lets see some real shots at gsmarena review.
Huawei budget phones have better low light images than samsung high end flagships lol, thats how far behind samsung is
Birdie, 19 Jul 2019Yet another teaser with a stockphoto... didn't find the original, but here is a chinese man... morewe are talking here about 9X camera samples (photo 3/4/5/6) and not about promotional posters ? ....
Birdie, 19 Jul 2019Yet another teaser with a stockphoto... didn't find the original, but here is a chinese man... moreLol obviously the teaser background poster just for the marketing. The photo samples provided is the real deal.

CCE, 19 Jul 2019But what is the point of taking photo at night and looks like a day time?I'm not even sure what kind of answer you are expecting lol
will the Honor 9X ever come to EU?
AnonD-241270, 19 Jul 2019assuming the watermark of Honor 9X in the photos look in the NOT same exact place, in the seco... moreYou see the ghosting and HDR artifacts in highlight areas, as well as some strong sharpening and detail smudging? Do you honestly believe that those photos were produced from a dedicated camera with quality optics and a huge sensor?
Neutral type, 19 Jul 2019Sorry to dissapoint you, but Night mode is present on Galaxy S4 which is released on 2013. So ... moreYou might want to learn the difference between the multi-frame NR and long-exposure HDR. S4 used the former, P8(More precisely, Honor 6 Plus from 2014 was the first device with Night Mode) used latter. P20 Pro was also using the latter but of course the exposure time had been shortened and far more complex calculations had been used in order to align images properly in handheld capture.
But what is the point of taking photo at night and looks like a day time?

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2019Eh, Huawei fans are just as easily triggered when anyone either dares to: - Mention the name ... moreUnfairly criticized company?
Shui8, 19 Jul 2019Hilarious. Thats a normal Night scene, which every other brand has on that time.
The specif... moreActually it is not just a simple scene, the night mode on S4 is doing a photo stacking, but it is not done in long exposure like today all new night mode. You can try it if you still have the Galaxy S4, or the Galaxy mid ranger up till A 2017 the description said it is merging multiple shot. Even though it doesn't improve the image quality by much on flagship, it is imrpoving the mid ranger phone image a lot. I'm talking about seperare Night Mode not a Night Detection
But if your talking about software base stabilization and long exposure, the all new night mode P20 Pro is the first, but in general it is not

The specific 'Night Mode' Huawei introduce is a long exposure + image stacking, stabilized using AIS (different naming for advance EIS), handheld with minimal blurry images (except moving object, which is normal if u capture long exposure) for 5 seconds.
The same Night Sight by Pixel, Bright Night by Samsung, Nightscape by Oppo/Oneplus, which is follow Huawei's method.
Hopefully they ate taken from a phone. I downloaded some of the pics and at 1/4th their full resolution, the images are still very respectable for a smartphone.
The last 1 year has seen Huge Improvenents on the Imaging Sensor and Computational Photography algorithm front. Now the new 64MP, 100MP and 108MP sensors should start pushing things even further.
Like a lot of people with DSLRs/Mirrorless, I want to be able to keep my larger cameras at home during personal travels and be able to completely be able to take photos and videos on my smartphone (and have the option of having larger prints if need be, without terrible output). Hopefully these 64-108MP sensors don't disappoint. And I hope the next generations of processors and sensors (and sensor and lens stabilization) are able to use a LOT more frames for details, sharpness, noise control and lowlight.
DSLR, 19 Jul 2019dslr is that you?Actually this one is note taken by DSLR, it is some smaller sensor, and pictures are quite impressive, but there is too much of processing
MadMel, 19 Jul 2019Sony fans are easily triggered by Huawei night photos , but you are forgetting that was Huawei... moreSorry to dissapoint you, but Night mode is present on Galaxy S4 which is released on 2013. So Huawei is the second to have night mode since it is just arrived at P8 that released at 2015 :(
Here is the proof
