My Huawei is Fantastic. finally chinese is it. We cant wait to have your complete range of smart phones in Nigeria. I have been using sonic for sometimes now with out any issues at all. the better battery breakthrough solution of Honor will make it an instant hit here. Lets them pls.
My freaking 1yr old Ideos X6 is still rocking solid. Battery still doing good (no sign of depleted perfomance yet)
The only issue I have is the driver for the camera seem to have been collupted by some camera apps I hv installed.
AnonD-39775, 14 Feb 2012oohh!!!it means you are just near a gsm antenna, otherwise you couldn't send or receive anytin... morei work as a tech support from one of the major mobile providers in australia. can't say what company due to privacy reasons. usually bad reception is not due to faulty handset. it's gonna be under network coverage. if you put a dumbphone and a smartphone together on a same area w/ low/weak coverage, regardless if your smartphone is running a tegra or a snapdragon chipset, reception would still be the same on both phones. this is how we troubleshoot.
Account> Network System > Coverage/network/Towers/ Handset/ customers
note that we check the handset after the first 3.
AnonD-39775, 14 Feb 2012huawei= over priced crappy brand make with the cheapest components with minimum qualityactually, your correct on the word "cheap"
But for quality...your quite wrong
a typical view for "made in china" products is cheap and low end.
Those 2 words are applicable to small chinese companies.
huawei is big and recognized by Big mobile providers around the world like AT&T, Sprint, OPTUS and such.
That alone should make you think twice.
if your still having doubts....you might be surprised that your samsung or iphone or whatever HIGH END smartphone your holding right now is manufactured in china(Shenzhen and Chengdu, China)
Mind you...am not chinese

They're not substandard. What they are is DIRT cheap.
You get what you paid for.
Have two Huawei Ideos's since a long time now. They look absurd but other than that, they've survived through thick and thin for me.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2012Scula blame yourself for laying your hands on a low-end device.Cheap is expensive, you know. An... morehonor will be cheap compared with sgs 2. but not cheap enough to deserve to throw money on it. i spent 200 euros for huawei u8850. if i put 50 euros i can take a sgs 1 brand new. i just wanna try this brand, huawei. i always had until now the most expansive mobiles, but i wanted to make an experiment. experiment is over, the pacient is dead. NO MORE HUAWI. CRAP. you are pay or stupid or fjust a kid to compare nokia with huawei
We got a game changer. Innovate or Die. Time to change the rules and tradition of da game.
I had a Huawei and it was really ok for the price, theo only problem is to trade in the phone since few people buy it, the value for trade in is really small...

And be informed, the likes of the ideos and your crappy Vision were out of the question when I made my point. If GSM Arena themselves and Engadget, some of the hardened mobile devices geeks I know have already been mesmerized by the Honor and Ascend P1, then the next iteration of the Ascend will be unfathomably mind-blowing.Put a sensation with its dying signals and an Ascend in front of me, and I will not pick the HTC.Put the Lumia 800 and the Honor in front of me, and I will assume I didn't notice the Nokia.WORD!
I had few huaweis they all run flawlesly, dunno about you. I think you arn't capeable to use that phone. Its a good brand for money which you spend. This is will be ass kicker of the year if it has good price with nice sw support.

And the likes of Nokia with their... moreyou can't compare nokia with huawei never ever. what you are saying is the biggest stupid thing ever wrote on this forum. i had huawei u8850 vision. it was the worsest experience of my life, i was close to cry of nerves that i spent my money on that chinese crap. i found very hard to make an exchange with a 2nd hand htc desire wich is miles ahead of that crap. thanks god i found a stupid guy bigger than me to take that crap
i had a huawei u8850 vision. i strongly recommend to NOT BUY EVER THIS CRAP BRAND:infernal bad signal, infernal bad speaker, infernal bad heaphones output,INFERNAL BAD CAMERA. NEVER EVER BUY THIS BRAND.it is many miles UNDER htc wich is the cheapeast brand wich is still acceptable. at 2nd hand practically huawei can't be reselled,it becomes yours for life. they might release 8 cores with 30 mp camera and 4k video recorder with 10 tb memory. their performance is only write on paper, the real experience with this brand is infernal bad. i will never step in their trap and please listen to my advice
Looks like Huawei is gonna be kicking a$$ sooner than later. And the likes of Nokia with their year-old tech will be on the receiving end.Price-wise,HTC will have a few kicks on it's expensive butt.Huawei just need aggressive marketing and could turn the highly erratic (ask Nokia and RIM)tech world around.
