Personally I have gone from having no great feelings one way or the other towards them, as a company, to absolutely loathing them with all my being. It is obvious they cannot compete in the market place with appropriate hardware and software. So now just sue everyone in site to try and cover it up. The best way to hide shortcomings is to deflect attention to others and that it how I view these court room antics.

It is also seems obvious they despise Open Standards and worship closed proprietary hardware and software that they totally control. Even that I could handle if they would let others just go about their business. After all what we buy shuld be our choice. I firmly believe that what Apple are really out to achieve is to remove our choice to buy a mobile device from anyone other than them and not just because of finance. They really just want to remove our freedom of choice and tie us in to their way of doing things as they despise the freedom that Andorid reperesents. Hence why they don't go after Symbian or Microsoft devices as they are much more tied down and in line with how they think the mobile world should be. As such I view Steve Jobs and whomever is now doing his job as the Adolf Hitler of the mobile world.

In his word, paraphrase, "Apple is not microsoft, microsoft might want to get a license fee from android, but we're not. We just want android to stop".

''Google would handle the roughly 17,000 mobile patents it would acquire from the deal, and make sure they are licensed them to any third parties under fair, reasonable, and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms.'' If only Apple could follow that
