Huh! Wait ... it is too quick ... I am still waiting for Samsung Galaxy S III with Android ICS 4.0!!!!!!!!!!
Oh well, I hope SGSIII will be upgradable to Android JB 5.0 ... ;-)
jack, 16 Feb 2012so a new skin for android is coming and is called Jelly Bean the 5th version of android hahaha... moreIf YOU don't notice the improvements on Chrome this doesn't mean that they are not existent. You see, when all you do is Facebook and 2 websites, yes, you can use almost any browser out there. But for a developer, the improvements are obvious. BTW, have you ever heard of that thing called bugfixes?
jack, 16 Feb 2012so a new skin for android is coming and is called Jelly Bean the 5th version of android hahaha... moreWhat you state here just goes to show you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
jesus...one a year is completely fine. its stupid releasing 3 versions of a mobile os in the space of 12 months.
suji, 16 Feb 2012so we are going to see jelly bean soon...
i think se will update it s devices with jelly bean... moreSo, did Samsung roll out their official ICS update ? HTC ? Motorola ? hellooo
Sony will start the roll out in teh end of the next month !!!!!
ben, 16 Feb 2012haha such a immature policy from google, most of the android phones are running ver. 2.3.2 and... moreJust like what they do on their previous releases!
Like this: Versions of Cupcake, Donut and Eclair were released in 2009. Froyo and Gingerbread in 2010.
The updates will be faster if the OEMs were involved in the coding process of the OS. Google doesn't do that. OEMs have to wait for code to be released publicly. Shame.
ben, 16 Feb 2012k is the end of android lol k probably stands for 'killed by windows' hahaWow, now that's a lame comment. Hater lol.
it's every one year.. GB was released around end of 2010, ICS end of 2011, and i won't be surprised if jellybean will be released at the end of 2012.. and half a year later, it will be in the newer phones.. just like what ICS is doing now.. so, chill.. if you want the latest, buy the latest phone.. anyway, GB is more than enough, ICS is a bonus.. rmbr, iOS5 is still behind GB..
android is started loosing and after some months android will end.on another hand windows phone is started gaining and after some months wp will take android's place.
microsoft - giant os builder.
google - giant search engine.
microsoft has years of experience in os building than google.
ben, 16 Feb 2012k is the end of android lol k probably stands for 'killed by windows' hahahahahahaha that was a good one
so a new skin for android is coming and is called Jelly Bean the 5th version of android hahaha the only difference between android versions is just a new skin excatly like google chrome, they are already by the 18th version however the browser is not even 2 years old which means 9 versions each year... google is just a good search engine, thats all
they also keep increasing min hardware requirement with each update.this might be an exclusive property of dual and quadcore phones.
Nokia is better in providing updates.they bring it to all handset
Yeah, I'm sort of worried about that too.
I wonder how many current phones will be updated to 5.0. I can sense a lot of frustrated customers whose 4 month old phones can't upgrade to 5.0.
I thought Android 4.0 was meant to be a unifying release for Android - to reduce fragmentation. Doesn't seem that way yet.
I guess this is a strength of iOS (and to a lesser extent, WP7) have.
But anyhow, this isn't confirmed yet - so the 5.0 release could still be a fair way off. Guess we'll see.
