instead of creating theories?!
except for the cheapest Tencent Elite version with limited support,
the known ROG Phone 2 versions coming with global radio support,
incl. all 700MHz FDD-LTE Bands + B66 and B20 for EU,
even the asian versions.
so 18 FDD-LTE + all mostly used TD-LTE Bands,
also 8 diff. 3G/WCDMA Bands ...
that s nice and complete
FM Radio support incl. as well!

Unfortunately I had to gave up on the first one too due to the faulty screen and they had no more in stock in the UK.
Well, haters gonna hate anyway.
Asus has been working on their smartphones harder than most companies. So naturally, it should pay off in the end.
Good luck Asus, you're a true underdog that deserves more attention.

I looked up the first ROG phone and apparently Verizon was butting heads with Asus on getting software compatibility for VoLTE but Asus wouldn't budge. It doesn't look like there's going to be another phone quite like the rog 2 in terms of features and performance, especially with regards to thermal throttling. Fingers crossed still.

Asus phones aren't really that popular in the first place there, so why would they bring this one to America? Not mention that it'd be facing fierce competition from flagships by the likes of Samsung and Apple... but I guess there is a small chance it could still happen, though. Carrier compatibility could be really tricky though. I suggest doing your research on what carrier you want for that phone and try to find out the bands it uses, and if they're compatible with this phone.

I'm dying for news about its availability in the US. I suppose even if I managed to buy it from JD during the august sales I probably couldn't use it here yeah?
IÂ’m loving the come back of Asus with these really nice products
Let's use random number combinations as news material for a certain piece of tech from a certain company.
At least a bit of a higher level than the so called Flash Sales with no specific numbers thrown out.
Out of Control, 01 Aug 2019Will it come to Europe?will be launched just before IFA Berlin, early Sept.

but Zenfone 6 (ASUS 6z) after 2 months of 1st sale
- still sells out on pre-orders, where has been launched;
- and most markets still waiting for lauch;
- 3rd party sellers on ebay & Co. asking up to 50% over list-prices ...
So ASUS will have/has 2 very popular phones at the same times
and production & supply chain capacities are limited,
so availability as well will be limited for months.
When all phones look similar, i'm starting to get interested in gaming phones like this one.
If I was to buy a new phone right now, I would order one of these in a heartbeart.
I would definitely buy rog 2 at the cheaper price that was offered in China and i don't do gaming.
The specs and the looks...very nice phone
