You do know that the Nokia 701 uses the same Broadcom GPU as the N8 but with 128MB of memory vs 32 on the N8 right? This GPU has been shown to be weak, the only reason why it scores "decent" on any benchmark is because the native resolution of nHD is a lot lower than resolutions on Android Devices.
So no, this GPU isn't the 2nd best, its not even close.

If the 610 is a Lumia with hardware keyboard, I'll have little hesitation to buy it. Probably a bit of wishful thinking.

Give us the N8 sucessor with all the feauters the N8 has + dual-core cpu, 1gb of ram, PowerVR SGX540 or similar gpu, nfc and camera with optical zoom...

This certified inform that Nokia Indonesia won't bring other Belle nor Carla Symbian into Indonesia anymore (they even not sell Nokia 701), they will concentrate only with Lumia series and Asha Series. So even if the N808 Pureview will launch on MWC still it's only a dream for Indonesian customer. But this just my personal opinion. I think if Indonesian want to got the latest symbian Belle or Carla handset have to go to Singapore at least. Sigh another bad marketing strategic, made Nokia becoming prey by other system.

Anonymous, 17 Feb 2012samsung design sux, cheap looking, thinness is uncomfortable to hold...Thinness = technology which is lack in Nokia phones and calling Samsung cheap proves you don't know what is cheap and what is expansive because Nokia provides outdated cheap brick in thickness and in weight and lack with today's technology?
I don't care what future and statistics say because they all rumors since the fact proves Samsung is in the lead and no one else.
Go and enjoy with your outdated brick restrictive WP since i just received my Galaxy Note 32GB internal + 64GB Sandisk which is awesome in every aspect

By t... moreNot right...no single core can recorde 1080p till now in any mobile even iphone 4 or galaxy S plus have very good Gpu and but they still cant match dual cores cell phones to recorde 1080p...hoping that 808 will bring a good dual core processor..

By the way.the gpu on the Nokia 701 and 603 if the second best gpu on any mobile device currently available. Bested only by the iphone 4s. Way better than that on the galaxy sII. Its perfectly capable of 1080p recording but is limited by the camera module.
