Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019True reason .... They want to sell more earbuds. Same reason Apple and Sony did it. This is make sense! Moneeeyyyy

Also Samsung *... moreThat's the whole point of a galaxy note, the pen
If you don't like it, get the s10
Simple
Only 100mah sacrifice for a headphone jack? I rather have it lol.
This is just a lame excuses, including on every brand out there.
Had Notes from the series 2.
But this might be a dealbreaker.
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019Get over it already There are now less phones with the jack than without it Won't get over it. And I don't care how many phones lack the jack. Won't buy a phone without it. If I just 'get over' anything then companies can keep pushing consumers over like its nothing.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019Same thing happened with the removable battery You all said the same LG was the last company... moreVery well said... burn them, hahaha...
What I just replied to a guy on a different post, it applies to this comment section too:
The only thing lame here is your lack of understanding of the N series. It's not meant to be more powerful and agressive than the S series of the same year, it's meant to be the variant with a Pen, which by the way, the pen has some really good innovations plus some additional minor upgrades to the hardaware and features. The N series is for people who will need the S-Pen, I am not sure what idea people got in therir heads expecting all devices to be designed for their particular taste... You don't like it? Then don't even open the link and move on, or at least have an idea of what device you are reviewing before commenting nonsense. The 3.5mm Jack removal it's an upgrade, this is not a phone for you to go excersise with or whatever with chords going from your pocket to your ears, this is a classy device, top tier. The punchhole (Whether you like the desing or not) it's also an innovation, but blindfolded people will just trash talk no matter what just because they don't like it or just hate the brand in general. This is a matter of taste, not all devices will meet your needs and expectatoins, that's why there are thousands of models out there, not everything is for you or about you.

Then explain why Galaxy S10 5G/A70 have 4,500 mAh and M20/30 have 5,000 mAh battery yet still have the headphone jack (other than the fact that those doesn't have a long hole for pen)?
A 100mAh difference is practically nothing, and wasn't their haptic vibration system already pretty good from the get-go? I don't really get how this is justified. This has got to be a move to sell more Galaxy Buds. Hopefully they keep the jack with their S phones since there's no S-Pen taking up a lot of space, if they don't LG might just see a resurgence in popularity
That's a wrong move for samsung. Y remove headfone jack that all people love to use, for work n play. Domt agree with them
Samsung “We took out the headphone jack to make more space for the battery.”
Also Samsung *Drills a long hole to stick a pen inside the phone*
Worst - note - ever.. I'll rank it lower than the exploding note 7.. At least that one is accidental.. This 3.5mm removal is totally deliberate.. Heck I'll trade 200mah for a 3.5mm jack.. I'll stay on the Note 8 till I get my jack back..
