People... morewp will have 20% ? you are on drugs... i have to remind you that windows phone sold (all manufacturers and windows mobile) around 2,7milion and for 2012 is estimates to sell around 3,9 milion....

Abandoning the Symbian family name is one more step in the direction to undervalue the OS, a Nokia asset. Leaves back its long history, its familiar users.
Do they feel Windows is a better selling alternative? Probably they don't know, they just risk.

As long as Elop is in power is see more and microsoftization of Nokia. One thing he knows well. OK for him, but what about the shareholders?

Stephen Elop! Do something, because these Symbian phones will outsell Windows Phone.

GrainySnapshot, 22 Feb 2012While the news of an update for my N8 fills me with joy, I cannot help worrying which feature ... morei fear they are going to cripple down symbian features to WP features. Belle is worst Symbian ever :-( But that's good - I will get back to cheaper phones :-))

Nokia doesn"t listen to end users like me. They prefer to Do Their Thing while we beg for attention. Am happy they lost market and mindshare. Keep churning out mediocre works with high price tags.

Nokia please give a processor update for S^1 phones(clock it up to 510mhz), because most of the S^1 users prefer getting an extra 50-100mhz than an extra day of battery usage.

nokia should use symbian os for non touch phone devices and windows phone for touch phone devices.then only nokia will able to survive in market.otherwise it will be a big mistake again.

While the news of an update for my N8 fills me with joy, I cannot help worrying which feature I now love Nokia will decide it can ditch. Full DLNA support (which I had on my N86) disappeared with Symbian ^3 and only the limited "Play To" has gradually crept back. With Belle, remote WebDAV drive mapping has gone. I can presently use an external USB decoder (Fiio D5) to get S/PDIF digital output from the music player on my N8. Will that feature stop working when Carla comes out?
