Not very surprised considering almost every person I know with an iPhone has AirPods or plans on buying some, ditto w/ Apple Watches.

Really shows how overpriced apples stuff is if their cheapest items to build surpass the most expensive to build devices, selling 30$ airpods for 200$ is such a joke and the sound quality is complete crap.

abigfanoftechs, 13 Aug 2019Samsung were too slow to catch onto this business sector. I'm glad they started to remove 3.5... moreI hate what you said.
If you keep the 3.5mm jack, it does NOT prevent you from using Bluetooth headphones. If you remove the jack, it DOES prevent you from using wired headphones. Having several choices and freedom is good for consumers. To place your preferences unto others is quiet sadistic actually.

Once Airpods have a coating to stop them falling out of my ears I will get them for my Android phone. The are the best design like Pixel Buds as are not in ear canal design.

Airpods are the most lucrative.
Cost sbout $30 max to make, sold for $200 in some places. Small batteries non-replaceable batteries die so you buy another one.
I doubt many people lose them around, I'd put them in a bag chained to my heart for that price.

High margin and lots (repeating)buyer? Does battery goes bad after a year? or ppl keep losing one of ear piece? I gave up using bt headset after losing the left piece after 5 days opening the box. $80 went t drain. Headphones wireless is fine because it's big tho.

JBL, BOSE, Samsung, Sony, Senheisier etc are a lot better audio devices than Apple can ever made and make.

I must admit that Apple Watch and Airpods are very useful and easy to use but a bit expensive for a lot of people.
