SA-Saffer, 20 Aug 2019Please make a round face, the square is so 90's and looks crapDigital displays are rectangular because it maximizes wafer usage. With no sweeping hands to define the watch face, there's literally no reason to cut off the corners; why wouldn't you want the increased display area? Just like rounded corners on a display with bezels - WHY?!?
xui xeo, 20 Aug 2019Just coating as usual, typical Apple fakeThey already had a Titanium Powerbook G4 and Ceramic Apple Watch, and they weren't "fake" in any way. Those were special editions.
But this time, there is speculation that Apple may replace their stainless steel for the Titanium for their Cellular models.
I don't think it would be a wise move as Titanium scratches very, very easily, even with the special coating Apple may apply. The scratches on a SS watch looks good and not out of place as it isn't very visible but Titanium has a dark greyish colour, so if Apple doesn't oxidise it with a special coating, it will be the same case as in the iPhone 5 space gray scratch magnet.
SA-Saffer, 20 Aug 2019Please make a round face, the square is so 90's and looks crapWhat foolishness. The first ever watch made... guess what? ITS ROUND.. in the 90s theres tons of round watches as well!
So who's the old fashion eh?? btw.. no point changing since they already dominate the watch market.
Fearghast, 19 Aug 2019After "Apple Gold" and "Apple Saphire" I am really curious how titanium and ceramic can be mad... more"The Apple Way"
slap the titanium and casing on the back of the smartwatch and market it as "ADVANCED" or "SUPERB" material along with an increased in price
Vyshak75, 19 Aug 2019And price. If we talk about prices then Apple slogan is - "sky is the limit"...
Will it be like Apple's version of sapphire that is just as schratchable as regular glass?
Probably no major spec bump or new features, so they had to make some kind of excuse to raise that price further...
Vyshak75, 19 Aug 2019And price. To put higher price, they need to say that there's something new.
After "Apple Gold" and "Apple Saphire" I am really curious how titanium and ceramic can be made in the "Apple way".
Easy way to jack the price up without upgrading the watch itself, I'm sure it's a minimal upgrade and do people really need to buy a new smart watch every year? Lol if you do then your an idiot
