Many like Huawei devices Mi 8 or Pocophone F1, even Nokia 8.1. would be cheaper and better or Z2 force by Motorola or Lenovo Z5 pro GT, Iphone 7 or 7 plus etc.

You can buy brand new A5 2017 for 200 Euros and it has IP68, 3GB of RAM, probs a faster processor and at least Oreo upgrade.

You can buy brand new Galaxy S8 for 330 Euros and it has IP68, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and way better camera and more powerful processor. Plus Android Pie upgrade.

You just have to find places that still have old stock. But both of these phones are probably way better deal than what LG is selling here...

They know how to make or dont make profit by selling new devices with low specs for price of a great midranger with outdated OS.

Nougat... if it was Oreo and price was lower I'd maybe understand by some stretch because maybe phone is durable so it costs to produce it? But Nougat out of the box on phone made in 2019 is just sad.
Only midrange thing about this phone is the price. Everything else is low end...
What is LG thinking?

LG as always selling low-end hardware for the price of a Redmi Note 7, Galaxy A30/A50 or similar. They clearly aren't willing to learn from their past mistakes, just like Sony and HTC.

We expected 4 to 6 gb ram and 128/512 gb rom with dual sim coupled with AI. Average Indian's consumer budget is Rs.15000 to 20,000. Lg had a good chance to successfully compete with China made phones

LG Superfan, 22 Aug 2019Check LG V30 drop test that is one durable crapYes, they are like any other phone with glass back, but those phones LG Q5/7, LG K40, 50, K40s, K50s, are plastic phones

"The phone is MIL-STD 810G compliant, which means it can handle plenty of drops before it gets any damage."

That was a case with LG Q6/7, but after 1 day of usage there was milion scratches on the glossy back plastic.. So MIL for LG phones does nit count.
