I go one x and there are no other kinds for me any more. Just the right combination. Lichota Robert
midas84, 27 Feb 2012HTC One V runs ICS, but original Desire (same processor more RAM) will not get upgraded. Weird. It's all about ROM not RAM nor processor. Don't whining if you don't know what are you talking about.
AnonD-26572, 27 Feb 2012With 128 GB SDXC memory cards on the way I will not be buying any phone that does not come wit... moreAnd not going to by SDXC if any phone does not support it yet!
One S Superamoled with 1,650mAh batt??
FAIL!
You will suffer the charger many times, especially if you do heavy browsing trust me, I've been there with galaxy S2..
And HTC is worse than samsung for battery reliability.
Show me decent battery like razr droid MAXX, HTC!
HTC one X with 4' or 4.3' display would be first choise. a phone with a 4.7' display is to big to be called mobile phone.
Removable battery?
No 4.0 inch device. The 3.7 inch device is low end and far too tall got what a 3.7 device should be.
Really disappointing for me this offering.

One S,will have S4 : The list of new S4 chips includes the MSM8660A, MSM8260A, MSM8630, MSM8230, MSM8627, MSM8227, APQ8060A and APQ8030, which join the already announced MSM8960, MSM8930 and APQ8064. The new chips feature the Krait CPU, aimed at upping mobile performance, while offering better power management and battery life.
Hmmm, I'm confused now, whether I should get One X or One S on my next upgrade. Not really sure if 16GB on One S will be enough, coz my FLAC files altogether is already around 7-8GB. Not going to get the One X coz it's too big for me + S4 Krait can smoke Tegra 3 in CPU performance. Hmmm, dillema...........
With 128 GB SDXC memory cards on the way I will not be buying any phone that does not come with an SD card slot.
HTC also need start using AMOLED screens. Having had two of their devices in the past, their LCD screens are virtually invisble in bright sunlight. They certainly were on the HD2.
Sonny, 26 Feb 2012The One S has an S3 processor, not S4.It is S4 according to Anandtech.com who have some benchmarks for the One S and X.
Sonny, 26 Feb 2012The One S has an S3 processor, not S4.The Htc One S has a Snapdragon S4 processor. It's the variant of the MSM8960, the MSM8260A, but without LTE antenna. This MSM8260A has the same 1.5GHz dual core Krait processor and the same Adreno 225 GPU as the MSM8960.
One X =A copy of the white Nokia Lumia 800.
now this is what i'm talking about. HTC OneX looks so good and kills with processing power, but it might be a bit too large...
HTC OneS on the other hand would be better for me on all areas, but no Tegra3. i'm torn here.
do i need Tegra3? propably not, but i'm a geek, so i wan't it.
Sonny, 26 Feb 2012Reports are mixed at the moment. Engadget have reported tonight that it will have an S3, then ... moreAnd what about dual-core S4? Is it announced? Maybe One S has a chance to own it? :)
s, 26 Feb 2012But it was said that it'll have the S4? Is there any info proving otherwise? That would be a shame.Reports are mixed at the moment. Engadget have reported tonight that it will have an S3, then in the next post regarding the T-Mobile availability, they have said S4.
So... don't know. Shame Qualcomm won't have the quad-core S4 ready until the end of the year. That would have been amazing if they had it ready now.
There is 4+1 cores each core 1.5 ghz but the truth is one of the 4 cores that are together, has a different power , the core number two has infinite power , absolutely infinite and will kick in when needed .
HTC you still online and kicking niceeeeeeeeeee
My new phone will be HTC OneX
best phone ever made Excelent can´t wait
